Pale Wood Holiday Park

Very rude security guard on a power trip. Wouldn't gp there again.

Lovely tranquil owners only site set in woodlands with fishing pond ideal place to relax. Plenty of places in the area to enjoy only 5 miles from bala close to Corwen and Llangollen

Beautiful views and countryside. Peaceful.

Quiet , peaceful retreat to recharge your batteries . Always made welcome by the site managers . First class park well kept with always something different to see in the wildlife . Very relaxing and friendly. Always look forward to coming back .

Just been for a look around met by a very unfriendly Welsh lady in a white golf with a terrible attitude and face like a bucket of frog's put us off from buying a lodge on here, shame as the park looked nice with great views, pity some of the people are so unwelcomingredients and rude

New owners, bought the caravan a couple of months ago, straight forward sale..caravan ready for us within a week. The park is beautifully kept and Karen, Tony and Sam are helpful, friendly and welcoming. Looking forward to many more years on this park. Alison and Emma.

Pale Wood is a beautiful and tranquil place with lovely woodland walks and a host of wildlife, and is perfectly placed not only for a relaxing break but also for touring North Wales. We purchased our first lodge there in 2010 with the help of Karen, who with her husband Tony, managed the park to a very high standard. We are disappointed to see them go and felt that the standard of the park deteriorated without them, so we were delighted to hear of their return, and on our first visit of the year it was clear that they had quickly restored the park to its five-star standard. We felt that we were greeting old friends, and indeed have since upgraded our lodge, again with Karen's never-failing help and friendly advice. We hope to spend our leisure time there for many years to come.

We moved onto Pale Wood into a second hand van last year, we were so impressed with the park that we decided to change our old van for a brand new one. The transition to our new van was made a very easy and pleasant experience due to the excellent support and help we received from the site managers Karen and Tony, who throughout have been exceptional particularly with the help to move they gave me as I have a number of mobility issues.I have noticed one or two negative comments in these reviews and cannot understand where the people who placed these comments are coming from, I can only assume that they have some underlying issues or motivation for such negative comments.
For myself and Julie, I can only say that we have always found Karen and Tony pleasant, helpful, and above all a credit to the park and it's 5 star rating which they have deservedly earned. Best wishes Joseph and Julie.

We have been at Pale Wood for about 12 years and have seen some changes in that time - some good some bad! The site is lovely with gorgeous mountain views and very tranquil for a lovely chill out relaxing time. We must say that we are very delighted to see Karen and Tony back looking after the park a Big welcome back.
