What a wonderful place - off the beaten track, but so worth the trip. Food and service was excellent- the staff were a well oiled machine on a very busy sunny day. They were all very welcoming for a special family event - highly recommended!

What a lovely pub. Booked ahead to ensure a dog friendly table and when we arrived Alfie had a bowl of treats waiting for him and then got brought his own bowl of water, he was very impressed. We were very impressed with our food too. The staff were all lovely. Will definitely be paying another visit! Thankyou

We were gathered for a family lunch. The restaurant and garden are beautiful. We had such a lovely time 💓

We were celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary the meal was lovely three wonderful courses and not your run of the mill basic food ,real smart food. Can recommend the Tempura vegetables lovely; hubby had the deep fried fish his favourite . I had mushroom tortilini with a Madeira sauce heaven on a plate. I’m vegetarian and it can be difficult finding something that isn’t cheese based or spiced so high its horrid The best place for miles around .

We hired function room upstairs. Very charming room, and service and food were excellent. Bar downstairs etc.. was very relaxing and spacious, and tastefully designed. A charming place to visit. I hope to return soon! Thank you.

We had travelled 2 hours to get to wales from Warwickshire & had googled good food places around the post code we was visiting. We was not disappointed. We was taking my father in law out to dinner for his 84th birthday The quality of the food was outstanding the service from the staff was very warm & welcoming. The steak I ordered was cooked just like I had requested as was all 3 of our meals we ordered. I would highly recommend this place. We will most certainly return next time we are visiting wales.

The setting and the views from the Resteraunt was also extremely nice. Very clean tidy & friendly place for almost any occasion. Our 3 beautiful meals with deserts & a drink came to around £80 but the quality of food was excellent. We can not thank the staff enough for great service they provided which made us feel very welcome on our Monday afternoon out. Thank you

We came today with our collie Ted. Didnt eat but the food that came out looked lovely. Beautiful log fire which was appreciated on a cold dismal day. All staff were so lovely and chatty and made a huge fuss of Ted. He even had dog treats presented on a plate with a napkin. We live very local and will return to eat soon xx

Lovely building, relaxed atmosphere, great food. Friendly, attentive, professional staff. Good selection of real ale. All in all a fabulous place to visit.

I was treated to the evening by my family so thanks to them all for a great time.

Highly recommend booking the private function room . We hired it for a 70th birthday and for 16 people .. the staff were lovely and attentive which meant no bar visits as it was packed downstairs . A big table for everyone to chat around and the food was fantastic as ever .. we will be booking again in the future !

Can I just say a massive thank you to Jimmy, Emma and all the staff that served us today. You have all been very accommodating, friendly and gave exceptional service and the food was delicious! You all helped make my dad’s 60th birthday meal very special. Our waitress (I’m sorry I don’t know her name but has long blond hair) was particularly fantastic in dealing with all our needs with such professionalism and ease. No ask was too much and we felt really looked after from start to finish.
