Pant Yr Onnen Lakeside Camp Site

Nice campsite, quiet, stunning location and lovely views over the lake. Simple access to the lake from the stoney beach front and fire's allowed on the beachfront. Made for an ideal camping week!

Such a fantastic campsite, can't sing it's praises highly enough. Spacious pitches, good facilities, beautifully maintained site, very friendly, helpful people who run the site & just the most beautiful location from dawn to dusk. Adults loved it but best of all the kids had the time of their lives as plenty of space for games and playing on the grass and the shoreline was right next to our pitches. Steam train runs next to the site and the RAF jets flew over every now and then which kept us all entertained. Toasting marshmallows on the shore in the evening topped the days off. Loved it so much we are returning very soon & will do for years to come.

We have camped in a trailer tent and tent and also hired the shepherd's hut.
Stunningly beautiful location.
Immaculate toilet block.
Flat pitches.
Friendly and helpful managers and owners.
And campfires allowed by the lake which with a nice bottle of wine is the perfect end to the day.

Beautiful place. Well maintained site with friendly and helpful staff. We'll be back!

The only (I think) Lakeside camp site in Bala
We hired a shepherds hut, one of two on the site. One hut has electricity, one light, one socket and a heater. The other has no electricity but a log burner. A comfy double bed just don't forget your bedding. We had a fantastic, cosy, relaxed, comfortable stay. This is a great site, fires on the beach in the evening, lots of relaxed people, great views watching the sun go down.
Spotless facilities, usual site rules so no surprises, just a well run site that gives you everything you need and more. Really well run, nice people on site great communication when booking. My new favourite site!!

Lovely weekend spent here, staff very helpful and friendly and site clean and tidy x loved the fact you can have campfires beside the lake, as a family we really enjoyed the break xx

Can't rate it high enough. Beautiful location, owners are friendly and facilities are great but it must be said our stay was hindered by a nosey member of staff who first told us our fire was in the wrong place even though others had fires in similar places and he also closed the gate as I was driving in one evening at 10:25pm and told me to park outside even though notices around camp say 10:30. But despite that one individual it was a great stay and a great place to camp.

Relaxing, tidy campsite with lots of frontage for boat access. Bordered by bridle ways and fairly easy trails the views are stunning and more forested than the peaks to the west. Expect to still pick up 4G here to!

Just stayed on this campsite for 12 nights. The site is situated on a huge lake that is ideal for boating, kayaking and swimming. You can have camp fires at the side of the lake while enjoying the evening sunset over the mountains/hills. The views are spectacular from the campsite. The shower blocks are small but very clean and maintained. The wardens on site are very helpful, professional and always willing to help. This is one of the best sites we have ever stayed on and will be returning. The small town of Bala is just 3 miles from the campsite which offers shops, pubs/restaurants and cafe's.
