Business has been at the core of the Manor house since 1822 when it was purchased by the owners of Black Ox Bank, a local bank that was later taken over by Lloyds Bank, London. Today the manor house is but a ruin with the main tower of the house and frontage still standing. The original stables have been turned into a restaurant, coffee shop and luxury venue for events and meetings of up to 100 guests. In the manor grounds, wooden lodges have been built in the wooded landscape to accommodate parties from 2 to 8 people with a range of layouts to suit a variety of group sizes. Each self-catering lodge can be used for small team meetings, keeping in touch with the outside world through hi speed internet connections. Our heated, indoor swimming pool is in the walled garden with a sauna, jacuzzi, and gymnasium to give you all you need to relax after your meetings. Tennis courts and a crazy golf course make up other outdoor activities for company team building challenges.
