Welcome to Pantier!
Nestled up in the valley looking down on the surf of Newgale beach, peacefully tucked away along the prettiest stone lined drive you’ll find Pantier - a beautiful old farmhouse, outbuildings and detached barn, “The Coach House”, all sit on a stunning site in the Pembrokeshire National Park with flemish roots that date back to 1650.
We do things a little different here.
This is not your standard holiday home experience - dated furniture, mismatched towels and dusty old leaflets are long gone. In it’s place you’ll find a beautifully furnished spacious 2 bedroom Welsh stone barn conversion, The Coach House, boasting both modern coastal style and charm, combining oodles of character features with modern amenities.
But above all, it is our love for Pembrokeshire which is felt in every bit of your holiday experience with us - from the Welsh stone of the walls themselves to the local artists who have filled this wonderful space, to the spades of local knowledge and holiday tips you’ll find from the owners.
Pantier holiday retreat is a true family affair - everything is set up and run by us, 'The Jones-White clan', a two generation family living the Pembrokeshire dream! 'The Jones' part is complete with me, Anna, Aidan, my husband, our two young children and our beautiful cocker Loki and my parents make up the 'White' part - which makes Pantier a pretty vibrant place to be, full of laughter and smiles! Any questions you may have, someone is always on site and at hand to offer advice and recommendations - we live and breathe this beautiful county and are here to ensure you have the most amazing holiday, leaving with the biggest smiles on your faces and memories that will last a lifetime - and we do hope that in the process many of you will leave us as friends!
Because for us, holidays are about reconnecting with yourself, each other and nature, and there is no better place to do it than right here, in truly remarkable Pembrokeshire - from the beaches, to the landscape, to the friendliest of people - it is impossible to not be inspired and swept up by it all.
Whether you’re after exhilarating adventures or life’s best and simple pleasures, whether it’s diving into the blue lagoon at Abereiddy, puffin watching, surfing for the first time or long summer days at the beach, castle hopping, crabbing on the harbour, coastal walks or lingering pink-red sunsets, there is a Pembrokeshire holiday for everyone.

* Brand new fitted shaker kitchen with blissful views onto open fields complete with ceramic sink, coffee machine and dishwasher *
* 2 spacious bedrooms sleeping 4 people – a king sized master with stunning sea views down the valley towards St Brides Bay and a gorgeous twin room. Additional children happily accommodated for a small extra fee – cot / cot bed available *
* Bathroom with newly fitted bath with shower *
* Own patio and garden with seating area, perfect for alfresco dining *
* Family friendly – with both cot and highchair available *
* Dog friendly – we also welcome your furry friends! Dogs are limited to 2 per booking and are charged at an extra £5 per night with a cap of £20 per stay, payable on arrival *
* Full to bursting welcome pack with all our special hints and tips of all to see and do in this fabulous county *
* Local pub – The Victoria Inn (complete with microbrewery and dart board! ) is only 1 mile away and serves food daily. There is also a children’s playground and tennis court opposite the pub *
* Local shop – well-stocked convenience store and post office in Roch village is only a few minutes drive away. The historic county town and amenities of Haverfordwest with it’s large supermarkets and M& S is less than 8 miles away and charming St Davids with its fresh veg, delis and butcher is only a short drive away *
* Local beach – the Blue flag splendour of Newgale and its 2 miles of golden sand is only a few minutes drive away *
* All bed linen, bath towels, fuel, electric, wifi and starter pack of wood for woodburner included *
* Parking for 2 cars *
Note: The Coach House has various steps throughout – there is a step on entering and the lounge is accessed via 3 descending steep stone steps with handrail

So many breathtaking spots - the walk to Porthclais in St Davids on a warm afternoon is one of our favourites ❤️ @porthclaiskiosk serves up the most amazing goodies in season too! Coffee and ice cream to go please!😊👌
It’s time to start the week with some more beach-inspiration! 🌊❤️👌The next one on our list is the beautiful Porthmynawyd (pronounced ‘Porth-min-ar-wid’). . A little hidden gem just west of Newgale towards Solva. Access is by a public footpath from @pointzcastleicecream - the home of a gorgeous cafe selling incredible ice-cream all made on site (complete with a fabulous tractor playbarn!). The footpath leads through two fields and along a lush valley to the beach. This is an a...mazing sheltered spot for swimming with countless hidden caves to explore filled with fluorescent blue water. Nothing beats popping on those walking boots and heading out together on a Pembrokeshire adventure at any time of year! And with 186 miles of coastal path, that’s a lot of adventure 👌🌊❤️
So, next on our favourite local beach list is the small but beautiful beach of Nolton Haven just south of Newgale - a fabulous spot for a child friendly kayak and swim at high tide and if you’re feeling brave enough why not join in with the locals in the summer and dive down for crabs for an impromptu beach BBQ! This is our absolute favourite after school spot on those warm summer’s evenings - magic! 🌊❤️ . Crucially for families, this beach has a fantastic dam-able stream pro...viding hours of child entertainment – and if you’ve ever fancied an exhilarating gallop through the waves, the local @noltonstables offer the most wonderful coastal hacks down to glorious neighbouring Druidstone beach and beyond. . We’re going to share with you some of our favourite local beaches this week! 🌊😁🙌 . Kicking off with the one and only Newgale- which is only 1.5 miles away from us down the valley. . Nothing quite beats that drive down the hill to see the sweeping 2 miles of Blue Flag golden sand open up before you 😍 With a surf shop, cafe, The Duke, and watersports activity providers on site there is so much on offer for families, surfers and walkers alike!... .
