We did book and order food before hand so we were seated on time, food came out straight away and was hot.

Everyone was happy with the food and service was good.

I found the staff very polite.

We came back here after seeing Jeff Dunham in Cardiff. Had a bit of a wait for starters and slight confusion when mains came out first, but they took mains back and rectified the mistake and after the starters we were brought out fresh mains and told our starters had been taken off the bill as a way of apology. The staff were lovely and couldn't apologise to us enough. Would recommend this place as food is tasty and the makhani curry is a personal favourite of mine

User

Was shown to a table straight away- good as it was packed and we hadn't booked.. Was very attentive service by lovely waitresses, and the food was amazing... a lovely way to spend our 31st wedding anniversary!! We have never been disappointed with Pantruthen Farm and would highly recommend ... .

User

Lovely staff. Amazing food. No complaints here. Anyway even if I had got a complaint I speak to the staff first to see if they can rectify it before gobbing off on social media which seems to be the thing to do now! Definitely recommend this restaurant and the Premier Inn next door. Definitely stay and eat again if we find ourselves in Cardiff again.

My husband and I have a lovely meal at table table my veggie meal was outstanding I had cheese and bramble apple tart and my husband had fish and chips

User

I enjoyed my meal. The staff were very pleasant but there was quite a wait for rhe food.

User

Excellent customer service the meatballs my 8 year old ordered from the children's menu were rock hard but As soon as I notified the staff they were very quick to rectify the problem even gave him a whole new meal even tho he had eaten half of the sides apart from this I would have given is 5 stars as all our meals were spot on

User

Another nice meal here. Arrived just before a lot of people turned up. Would recommend booking a table during busy times then being disappointed and being turned away as no table available or having to wait a while. Jamie was waiter and very polite

User

Went this evening and didn't realise we could book but the staff tried to accommodate us. Food took too long after ordering (but was a busy night). Was looking forward to the hog roast Wellington and when arrived, tucked in to discover I had salmon Wellington with gravy had waited so long for food that I ate it anyway!!! At least they didn't charge me for my meal (the least they could do). Felt sorry for the waitress as they seemed grossly under staffed, so tipped her anyway. Hopefully better experience on a less busy night

User

I wanted to give this place a good review as the staff were very friendly and seemed very efficient, but the food took soooo long to arrive . We were dining with small children who had been on the road all day and were very tired and hungry. We booked for 6 pm but didn't receive mains until nearly 7.30,after chasing up our order. There seems to be no organisation in the kitchen . The food was just average when it arrived, nothing special - if we had known all this and how long we would have to try and keep young restless children occupied ,we would have just taken them to Mc Donald's! Breakfast next morning was not very palatable, greasy bacon n eggs . A disappointing experience ,a very expensive meal deal !

User

Whoever cooked the rib eye steak at 6.30pm on the 16th October should take up a new profession. Was more like 4 oz not 10oz...was full of gristle....was overcooked and looked awful. As was the whole presentation. Eaten here many times before....never a problem. Shame !

User

Well what can I say . Just visited this place after work and I will not be returning again. The food was tasteless and greasy and I wouldn't feed it to my dog. And I'm not quite sure what one member of staff found it so funny serving us and laughing in our faces.

User

Well we always use this place to eat out and we always give the place the benefit of doubt we did have a bad experience one time coming here out of all the years we have been going there but this would have to be the second complaint food was lovely but staff were dreadfull they were rushed off there feet non helpful we waited at least 40 mins to be seen then I forget how long to the food to be served I can appreciate the busy but when you pass tables and want to be seen you at least try and see them I think they need to hire more staff to cope with busy times that way less complaints but food was nice not sure if I will return to this place as it is our local but certainly a change is needed to bring this restaurant back up to how it should be

User

Usually enjoy a meal at Pant Ruthin but unfortunately they under estimated the amount of customers they were going to have for Mother's Day and ran out of quite a few dishes - very disappointing. Three dishes on the Mother's Day menu were not available but after commenting were informed that we were eating rather late - 5.30!!! Not good enough Pant Ruthin, thought you had new Manager who was supposed to improve things, yesterday was no improvement.

User

Really wanted to like this place as my brother had recommended it. We were booked for a table of 13 and to be honest I won't be going back. The service was very lacksy daisy and the staff looked like they just couldn't be bothered. It took them over 40 minutes to come and take our orders and took ages to be served our meals which came out in dribs and drabs. When it did come out it was cold and tasteless. We had 3 children with us who were getting very upset at having to wait so long for their food. When it came time to pay our bill they couldn't get the till to work so we all had to look through the menu and work out the total between us!! Really disappointing.

User

The wait for food was over an hour and a half. When it did arrive the food was cold and my grandsons meal wasn't what we ordered. I asked the waiter why there was such a delay on the food coming out. I was told that the chef was plating it up and it would be with us in five minutes. Fifteen minutes later and we were still waiting for our food. No wonder it was cold when it arrived. I certainly won't be returning. ABSOLUTELY SHOCKING.

User

Poor service poor quality food always make excuses as to why there out of this and that 40 mins wait for starter and hour for mains only to be told there out of gammon so orders a steak sent back as this chef dose not know what medium cooked is. It wasn't just there were plenty other customers who had the same problem.

User

Ordered a sandwich that cost 6 pounds. Yep 6 whole pounds for 2 pieces of stale bread with about 3/4 chunks of funny looking Chicken and a couple of bits of bacon and a ton of mayo. I would have complained but I was both starving and in a rush. Terrible prices, terrible food.

User

Beef stew and dumplings with mash potatoes in a red wine sauce...£12.95.

Should read, 6 tiny pieces of beef (no vegatables) and a Pattie of smash packet potato, served with a hard brown lump of something we will call a dumpling. All floating in a cheap red viniger sauce. Portions only suitable for under 5s. Total rip off. Disgusting meal. Staff very good and friendly.
