Reminder to families about the process for accessing hub provision childcare.

Moving forward all applications for childcare must be made via this link https://www.merthyr.gov.uk/Γdz/school-clo sures-emergency-chiΓdz/ Applications for weekend provision starting 4th April must be made by Tuesday 31st March, please identify your needs as far in advance as possible. For provision Mon ΓÇô Thurs & Tues ΓÇô Fri weeks beginning 6th & 13th April please apply by Weds 1st April. For weekday provision starting 20th April please apply by 13th April. All applications must be received at least 5 days in advance so that the number of hubs required and staffing ratios are managed safely.
IN ALL INSTANCES THE SAFEST OPTION TO PREVENT THE SPREAD OF THIS VIRUS AND TO PROTECT YOUR CHILDREN IS TO KEEP YOUR CHILD AT HOME.

CHILDCARE PROVISION UPDATE:
From Saturday 4th April weΓÇÔll be opening our Childcare Hubs on weekends for families where both parents are key workers within the Health and Social Care sector or the Public & National Security Sectors.
Your schools will have provided you with the details of this and applications must be made through the council website: https://www.merthyr.gov.uk/Γdz/school-clo sures-emergency-chiΓdz/
... Applications for next weekend must be completed by Tuesday 31st March.
