Welsh rugby’s finest are behind a 195 mile, three day bike ride which is set to raise tens of thousands of pounds for the game’s main registered charity Welsh Rugby Charitable Trust (WRCT) this weekend.
Scarlets and Wales winger Steff Evans waved the starting flag at Parc y Scarlets today which saw the likes of former internationals Robin McBryde, Richard Parks and Rupert Moon embark on a circuitous ‘R’ shaped route through Wales finishing at the Principality Stadium.

Went to see Steps last night absolutely fantastic. Venue was great, well organised, atmosphere was fab. Looking forward to seeing who comes here next!

User

I love the show all the band's truly amazing. They performed so well. However like so many others the drinks queue was really bad for such a hot day. Really wasn't impressed with the amount of glass bottles either. Surely there was no more people than match days and that's run so much better.

User

A great concert, UB40 were amazing as was the support. £4 a pint was fair enough, always expect to pay more at an event like this but no complaints. Our party got asked to stop vaping which I find extraordinary for an open air event, security guy couldn't explain exactly why but something to do with the stadium being built after the smoking ban came in. Feel sorry for the groundsmen, that poor pitch was wrecked. Maybe you could consider some buses back to Swansea next time. Would definitely attend future events, well done Parc y Scarlets.

User

The worst organised concert venue I've ever been to was Sunday to see Steps...band was great but I'm never going back there again...we're very big concert goers been to Wembley stadium the 02 Cardiff principality stadium and all these venues are perfectly run even Swansea liberty stadium are first class with burger vans chips noodle bars etc. there was an endless supply of food at all these venues....we are prohibited from taking food and drink into the venue so you expect there to be sufficient provisions at the venue....our kids were starving and before Steps came on they wanted their tea only to be told there was no food left...we complained strongly as this was not acceptable but the reason I gave 3 stars instead of one was that a lady who I assumed was management bent over backwards to try to remedy the situation and she even said she would to McDonalds if she had to she took our seat numbers and sure enough she turned up as the main act started with about 6 hot dogs...too much for us so we ended up sharing some with other people on our row...so we're very grateful to this beautiful person with a big heart who turned a bad situation into a good one for our autistic son and our 7 year old daughter xxx

User

Spent more time in a queue for drinks than watching steps and blue. I spent over 40 minutes getting food and drink and they were sold out when it says on the site "plentiful inside". My sister queued an hour and 10 minutes. Could have easily added drinks and food outside the stadium and barricaded it like the Liberty did. Best thing it is not even full here!!!

Had more than one area for toilets and bars where both sides could have been available, yet closed one side off.

Hardly any seats filled but tickets we not shown on site. No schedule for live acts coming on.

Plus they run out of bottled water in the hot weather we have.

Poor event planning for this concert.

User

Glad the music was good because the rest was a joke massive queues for drinks , terrible service on the food counter my friend paid for the hotdogs only to be told ten minutes later that they had sold out and was given her money back ,then watched people twenty minutes later eating hotdogs. You really need to sort out your services we queued for over an hour for soft drinks which is ridiculous . You were promoting to drink plenty of water yet people had to join massive queues to be able to access it. I didn't have this problem when I went to see Jess Glynne !!!

User

Fantastic show by Steps but had to agree with the reviews on here about the queues it was beyond!!! We had 3 members of our group all waiting to get drinks at different bars and all 3 were gone a very long time. When they did eventually get to the bars one was told there were no holders left to carry the drinks so had to wait longer!! Another ordered a peach schnapps after clearly seeing the drink on display but was then told someone would have to get some so a longer wait!! Was then overcharged rather a lot by the bar staff luckily he noticed and it did get sorted!!!! Really think this issue needs to be sorted and more staff brought in for events like this!! Queuing like that on such a hot day aswell was a issue especially as people were waiting that long just to get water!! Also more toilets needed to be open as the queues for them aswell was ridiculous!! It’s nice to be able to go and watch these events locally but it was rather off putting spending half the night in queues

User

Brillant concert.... There should have been much more hospitality available... both stadium bars were under staffed and under stocked. The bar in the silver enclosure was more expensive than stadium bars. Outside catering would have been beneficial and would be something to think about on match days also as the stadium was nowhere near capacity for the concert.

User

Thousands of people at the Steps concert and the queue for refreshments was huge... my sister queued for an hour just for drinks by 8.30 there was no bottles of water left and no food. Really need to be more prepared for such a big crowd! Good job the show was absolutely amazing!!!!

User

Spent an hour and a half queuing for a drink!! Missed most of the supporting acts. Very disappointed.

User

Fantastic concert, but if they want more they need to sort out catering. Appalling lack of water in hot weather also hot dogs and pies really! Need outside caterers and adults serving. Tried to charge £19.50 for a pie ,hot dog and mars!!

User

Went to watch UB40 and Level 42 last night! The 'security' was an absolute shambles! No one knew what they were doing!! They had young members of security who obviously didn't want to be there! No organisation...in light of recent events this was unbelievable!! The catering was worrying too! Saw food, including meat platters and cakes being pushed on trolleys in the rain with no covering! One roll fell on the floor from the trolley and was picked up by the staff and put back on the trolley!!!!! Unreal! Not what you would expect for a large venue!! Security could do with a massive overhaul! The manager of the security was eventually apologetic when we told him what we thought...sort it out Parc y Scarlets

User

The hospitality was shocking

The queues for the bar were horrendous

Just short of two hours queueing so missed most of the first act!

I will not be coming to a gig here again & I’ve been to many gigs in large & small venues but not experienced such abysmal shambles.

Toilet situation was nearly as dreadful but you sort of expect that in gigs I guess

User

Tamping I paid £38.50 for a ticket to stand in the que to get some WATER!! I missed all of blue and the beginning of steps what a waste! Awful for shame.

User

Steps concert was an absolute shambles. I took my 6 year old daughter as a treat as she has been unwell. We were told no food or drinks to be taken into the venue, that food would be plentiful. There was nothing even remotely healthy to choose from. Burgers, hot dogs and pies. Nothing vegan and very limited vegetarian. From 7.30 onwards there was NO food available. All the staff had to offer a hungry little girl was a huge bag of Haribo. I'm am absolutely disgusted with the appaling catering facilities, they need a massive overhaul.

User

Parc y Scarlets is not a venue suitable for anything other than rugby. Despite nowhere near a capacity crowd for last night’s Steps concert there was no food available by 8pm. Having spent £300 on seated tickets for my sister and I and our 4 daughters we had at least expected to have been able to feed our children (you were not allowed to take any food or drink into the stadium.) Incredibly disappointed Parc y Scarlets. Angry too not to have had any response to a Tweet last night or the email I sent this morning further demonstrating poor customer service.

User

Exactly why are you using load mouth 10 year olds as security/stewards? How are they supposed to spot potential trouble and help people in an emergency situation? Its beyond dangerous and probably violates a lot of health & safety laws. I watched a girl pass out at the bar and I see no first aiders just a pissed off security guard yell at her mates to move her away because people couldn’t get to the cash register. This is disgusting I’m never coming back.

User

Disgusted that all the food bars ran out of food before the main Act even started! Why not just allow people to bring their own food in if you can’t cope with a stadium that is only quarter full?

User

Came to steps concert here, service was absolute rubbish!!! If it was a sell out concert god help them. Not enough staff. Other half waited nearly 2 hrs to get served....absolute shambles!!
