St. Teilo's with Our Lady of Lourdes, a Parish of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Cardiff

The Parish of St. Teilo’s was founded in 1925 and has been serving the needs of the Catholic population of the north-west of Cardiff for 90 years. In the 1950s part of the parish became the new Parish of Our Lady of Lourdes in Gabalfa to accommodate the growing Catholic community arising from the new housing in the area. In 2005 the two parishes once more became one and the Parish of St. Teilo’s with Our Lady of Lourdes was formed.

Fr. (now Canon) William Isaac was appointed as Parish Priest in February 2014.

On 18th June 2014 the current St. Teilo's church celebrated 50 years since the first Mass in the 'new' church. This was marked with a week of celebrations to mark the golden jubilee.
