Our last trading day was Sunday 12 August 2018 Owing to the restructure of Mermaid Quay, we have returned our unit to the Landlord , which is scheduled to be a cinema. We would like to thank you for your support since 2001, and hope to serve you again in the future.

We had the 7 course menu between two. The food was excellent. It a great place to eat in the bay.

Took my parents for a meal here, and it totally lived up to our memory of it. The food was excellent: lovely fresh flavours and some good advice from the staff about different options. The service was also excellent - and they were even extremely polite when I managed to tip one of the sauces on the pristine white table cloth. Coming back again with my friends in a couple of weeks time - can't wait!

Took Sams advise on what to order, absolutely amazingly done, Sam was lovely and Akis was very friendly. Thoroughly enjoyed it. The cocktails are well done, the aromatic crispy done is cut up in front of you, 5 stars, will be back.

This restaurant is absolutely amazing! By far the best Chinese we have had. Lovely and friendly staff. Menus are clear and if you ask one of the staff to explain they will! Me and my partner love this place my fav Chinese around.

Absolutely fantastic meal last night. Nothing to complain about service was brill and the bar man Jools couldn't do enough to make sure our drinks were exactly how we wanted! The food was amazing can't wait to go back.

We normally visit for lunch and went early evening and was not disappointed, food lovely and fresh, staff very attentive. Only thing I disagree with is the 10% service charge added to the bill, if you did not read correctly this could end up being costly as tips are left on top if not known .

The food was great. But we were being served by a waiter who had clearly come to the end of his shift so was completely uninterested. Ordered extra drinks which he forgot. We asked again only to see him walk through the restaurant with his coat on and texting on his phone leaving his shift. Fair enough. Waited 40 minutes between starter and mains and it was a pretty quiet Sunday tea time. There weren't enough staff working. But the food was hot and there was plenty of it!

Went for a quick pre theatre meal. My friend had the set menu I opted for half aromatic duck.. only 6 pancakes, asked for more they brought 3 and tried to charge extra, not happy asked for the charge to be removed. Was quite cool temperature wise so claggy. Service charge added. Hate this. Probably will not return.

Had a meal there last night for our wedding anniversary, the food and the restaurant are very nice but have to say very pricey, if it wasn't a special occasion we we're celebrating I would have left and gone somewhere else, that said if you don't mind paying the premium then go for it

Went there for Sunday lunch. We had prebooked.



Staff were friendly, but they need to learn to work the floor, rather than chatting to each other behind an empty bar.



We tried to get their attention on three occasions, we ended up on each occasion having to get up and walk as we were fed up of waiting: for extra drinks, for cutlery and to pay the bill.



Food was good, above average, soft drinks were tiny 200ml glasses chocked full of ice cubes at £2.50 but the service really let down our experience.

The service was bordering on rude. I went there with my daughter for a special lunch and felt second class as we were using a voucher. The food turned out to be rather tasteless and disappointing and not what was suggested on the offer.

Not worth the money, great years ago but now very expensive for very little, and you could do far better and cheaper else where. I had to go somewhere else after because I was starving within an hour of eating there, and a set menu for £20 a head ! Don't bother

Food was not to my liking but hot some of food I wanted was out of stock the cost of meal was also a bit on the high side .this is the second time coming here and second time disappointed there won’t be a third.

Was just refused entry with the reason that the restaurant was fully boojed. Yet the restaurant was half empty. Just got back from the Welsh rugby match and still wearing our Wales scarves. Obviously they don't share out patriotism...
