Wow what an amazing castle, even in the pouring rain 4 hours of looking around wasn't really enough, have to say I feel there was a lack of information boards, I had to try and remember things from my history classes at school to tell my kids, but this certainly didn't put it off, also I had to give up queing for the toilets sent my daughter in with my husband to the men's, and I just had to cross my legs

User

What a truly amazing location for an outside concert . The King (Elvis) was truly in the Castle on Friday and UB40 went down a storm on Saturday. Great facility with brilliant support staff with a very special mention to the truly fantastic ladies who managed with queue for the Ladies spectacularly.

Thank you everyone

User

Went today with the kids and 3 dogs and have to be honest it was fantastic, the Tournamental show was brilliant they got everyone involved telling the story throughout the castle the kids were loving it and learning about the past without even realising

User

We visited at the end of February, we went on a kids tour - it was brilliant. The boys aged 4,4,6,7 - loved it. They are still singing 'A bucket of....' Thanks so much.

User

Thank you John and your amazing team for a wonderful weekend of entertainment in our beautiful castle. Pembroke certainly rocked It was very well organised and professional, you all did a great job can’t wait for next year xx

User

Really lovely afternoon, make sure you leave at least two hours! We had the fantastic guide Gareth the retired history teacher who had the most interesting stories and brought the history alive.

On July 30, 2018, we took our friends who are visiting from the US. We live in Tenby and we hadn’t been back inside the Castle for three years since our last visit while our US Grandson was visiting. While the last visit was super, and the free guided tour was amazing, yesterday was even better! Isla led our group at 12:30. What an asset! She was so animated and inclusive with the group. She made the tour ! It lasted a little more than 90 minutes and every minute was packed with fun and history. Well done! And thanks again Isla!

User

Loved our day here! It's dog friendly as long as they're on a lead and the entrance price was very reasonable - we picked a sunny day and enjoyed a picnic in the grounds while the kids explored the huge map of Wales. The castle is stunning and there was information at every point about the castle's former residents. Our kids enjoyed the re-enactments which were on throughout the day. A fantastic day out.

User

Loved it .I will recommend to anyone, well done guys and keep up with the good work,so yes it's a five star plus from me.

User

Just wanted to say how fabulous this place is. The staff were super friendly and helpful as I was on my own with my dog.

The castle is so interesting and so much to see. I spent hours wandering around and loved every second.

User

Guided talk well worth it - Guide Gareth was outstanding. Really brought the castle and it’s history to life.

User

Fantastic beer garden. Decent food and good staff.

User

Fabulous day at Pembroke Castle. Special mention about the FREE guided tour which lasted 2 hours and was extremely interesting and Howard, the guide, was extremely passionate about the castle and it's history. I learned so many things! We will be back again when the weather is better!

User

Fab visit today, with tour guide Isla really bringing the history of the place to life.

User

Excellent tour by the very knowledgeable & entertaining Howard - great castle with some great history!

User

Amazing castle. Beautiful views. Best bit the guided tour by Gareth, retired history teacher/ headmaster. So engaging with all age groups, brought the castle to life. Wish I’d had him for history.

We visited on a cold, rainy and windy February day in 2018.

We missed the start of the castle tour but caught up with the group of about a dozen plus tour guide 'Howard' .

Howard took us us to key parts of the castle both inside and out (even though it was almost horizontal rain!).

The manner in which he provided not only facts about the castle and its occupants but also personal opinions on kings and other royals was quite amazing.

His depth and knowledge and enthusiasm for the subject enthralled me and several others (don't forget the dreadful weather we were exposed to).

So thank you Howard, we will certainly return when the weather is better and hope you are on duty when we do.

Was a real good day out would of loved to stayed longer but weather wasn't great the only down side was very busy and to many people visiting was stuck on the stairs going up to the biggest tower for 5 or 10 mins very colstfobic and very dangerous for small children and old people

User

Castle was great -staff in both cafe and the shop definitely need some customer service training urgently! Also Windows in the ladies loo-you can see right in ! Also the lady doing the tour was too patronising and treated us as though we were on a school tour! A map of the layout would have been helpful as the WiFi didn't work so couldn't access the info on the message boards.
