Great pub, best in town, good selection of real ale, super friendly staff, and the customers are mostly alright too.

Friendly staff, a small selection of good ales with the guest ale being changed regularly. The atmosphere is nice and the new pizza oven is great. The food isn't too expensive and is nice. The space is far too small and the back area isn't developed at all (not maximising space). TV and live performances are always tucked away next to the bar which makes it incredibly difficult to order without getting in the way.

An excellent wood fired pizza, accompanied by a fine real ale, will go again.
