About Pembrokeshire Hogspital
We rescue and rehabilitate sick, injured and orphaned hedgehogs, returning them to the wild in most cases. We are non-profit making and all funds are used on the hedgehogs
Pembrokeshire Hogspital Description
Hedgehogs are sick if they are out in the day in the normal way. If you find a sick hedgehog or one you are worried about for any reason, first, pick it up and put it in a high sided box, cover it with scrunched up newspaper and take it indoors. Keep it warm. You can feed it meaty dog or cat food and WATER. A lot of people want to give milk but that can upset their tummies and make their condition much worse. Ring a rescue centre for help as soon as possible as hedgehogs will crash very quickly.

Ginny and Russ are amazing, they certainly know everything about the animals they keep from reptiles to hedgehogs. They are dedicated to providing the best care and without them both who knows what would happen to the Pembrokeshire Hedgehog, great to see these little guys flourish under you care and guidance, ready to be released to new homes :)
Fabulous service! Our rescued hedgehog was nurtured back to full health and was released back to the wild this evening together with a friend made at the hospital! Both disappeared into the sunset together. Thank you to the Hogspital for great advice throughout! We are lucky to have this service in Pembrokeshire.
