We had a fantastic night at Bluestone talking to their staff about the club and all things triathlon. We even encouraged a few staff members to have a go at a transition which was great fun, practice makes perfect. 🏊‍♂️ 🚴🏻‍♀️🏃🏻‍♂️😊

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!
The Pembrokeshire Duathlon in Neyland on Sunday 8th March is fast approaching and as always we need volunteers to help it run smoothly...and you don't have to be a dog to volunteer like Lola!
We need 4-6 people to help on Saturday afternoon / early evening to put signs out on the course, set up transition, and run registration for an hour or so.
... On Sunday we need around 30 people for registration, transition, timekeeping & course marshalling.
Everyone who volunteers in the next week (by next Sunday 9th February) will get a fab Howies t-shirt, as well as a hot roll & drink from The Alumchine restaurant, at Neyland Yacht Club. After that, no t-shirt is guaranteed (they will have been ordered).

It is always great to hear we are doing a good job, thanks to all the coaches, volunteers and club members for making PTC such a great club.
Since I first joined the club twelve months ago, the welcome from everyone has been fantastic. The structure of the sessions and the dedication of the coaches has really helped me develop and improve. The friendly rivalry and banter within the club is fantastic and there is always someone on hand to help and advise a newbie like me. If you are interested in triathlon then you wont go far wrong than joining a fantastic, friendly and welcoming club like Pembrokeshire Triathlon Club. Carwyn Jones

Most of you will be familiar with the t-shirt design for our popular Half Marathon & 10k in Dale.
Well, the clever people at Howies, who came up with the design and supply the amazing t-shirts which it goes on, have now created similar designs for our other 2 events!
We love them and hope you do too. They will be appearing on organic cotton Howies t-shirts for all 3 of our events this year, to get one you just need to enter at least a month before the closing date!

"When I moved to the area the best thing I did was join Pembrokeshire Triathlon Club ! Initially I was very nervous, but I really needn’t have been, as I was quickly made to feel very welcome and part of the club. I have found the club very friendly and all inclusive; it was a real eye opener to see the level of support and encouragement given to all members by their fellow members, especially from the enthusiastic coaches and those more experienced. I have made many firm friends through the club, so whether a seasoned triathlete or a complete novice wishing to dip their toe in triathlon, I would highly recommend Pembrokeshire Triathlon Club.”

A little overdue, but PTC would like to congratulate Claire, Simon and Vicki on successfully completing their Level 1 Triathlon Coaching Award. Welcome to the coaching team! Claire and Simon will be helping out at senior sessions and you will see Vicki on Saturdays with the Tristar, where hopefully she won’t have to stand on tiptoes when running the session 🤣
