Pen Y Bont Touring And Campsite
Reviews
Well kept, quiet and in a lovely location.
I was just visiting for one night. As I was entering the Holy Island SwimRun the next day, I needed somewhere to relax and have a good nights sleep.
The couple who run the site couldn't of been more welcoming. They live in a house right next to the site, so can be on hand to deal with noisy campsite guests - which is great if you've ever been kept up to the small hours by inconsiderate campers!
The toilet block is cosy, but probably one of the most well kept I've seen on any campsite. To top it off the location of the campsite right next to the waterside (behind a hedge and gate if you have little ones) is fantastic - with sunsets to die for.
If you're a well behaved camper who appreciates a quiet well run site, I couldn't recommend this place enough. If you want somewhere to get drunk into the small hours whilst your kids run amok, you're probably best looking elsewhere.
Lovely peaceful setting, most friendly greeting on arrival, only staying one night en route to Ireland would definately return
Nice quiet location, great for families. Children play happily in the middle of the field usually on bikes. Great making use of the estuary water surrounding 2 sides if the site! Good for dog walks. Toilet block is clean and in good condition with hot water. Lower field prone to flooding in bad weather.
Fantastic scenery, well kept campsite close (but not too close) to all amenities. Showers nice and warm - cost 20p for a minute.
Olwen seems happy to help.
