👏1st goal for the Club yesterday for new summer signing full back Jordan Hunt. Well done Jord !
⚽️ Bill is quick becoming Coeds supersub with 4 goals in last 4 league games all from the bench, only Richie Lewis has a better strike rate with 6 in last 4👌.
⚽️ Great to see Sam Brown at the game yesterday supporting the lads 👏

⚽️Top goalscorer Richie Lewis nods home for his hatrick and in Coeds 11-0 away win over Cwm Welfare AFC in the South Wales Alliance Premier fixture at Mount Pleasant Park Today.
👏The home side today deserve a mention of respect for the way they kept going and have done all season amid a mass exodus of so called stars .
👌Richie now has 17 league goals. This was our 12th win in last 13 league outings, picking up an incredible 36 pts out of 39 along the way. It was also our 8th... clean sheet of the league campaign so far and on a positive note we have already passed last Seasons total points tally of 43.
We currently sit 3rd with 10 games to go. Its looking pretty much like a four horse race for the title with hardly anything separating the sides . Lots to play for as we enter the final third of an exciting Season.
Our goals today came from Richie 3, Bill 2 , Mason 2, Griff , Kyle , Ashley Beckett and Jordan Hunt .
Training Monday night over the Woodlands 6pm.
Next Sat we travel to Merthyr Saints in the South Wales Alliance Premier. Kick Off 2:30pm

Proud of both teams today. Firstly the reserves had a great win in Llangeinor to push the league to the last matches. Apparently forwards to hot to handle again. The first team were set to massacre Trebanog and could have been 5 or 6 upin the first 20 mins. However a very resolute Trebanog were in the game until the final 5 mins when Richie scored a penalty to win 3-1. Great performances from their keeper and number 2 and good team ethic will stand them well in the future.

WJ Owen Cup Quarter Final Pencoed Ath 0-2 Cardiff Dracs
It was 2nd v 3rd in the League Cup Quarters in this feisty affair. Previous form between the sides went out of the window as the Dracs deservedly went through to the Semi Finals. The Dracs turned the tables on us with pressure from the 1st whistle . Not once was we allowed to play and the visitors held the upper hand in most areas of the pitch. The odd chance we did muster during the first half was squandered.... HT 0-0 The game changer was when we went behind to a debatable Penalty decision and moments later fell further behind in a good 10 min spell for the Dracs. 5 changes from the bench saw us go 4 up top for the last 25 mins. We created a couple of goal scoring opportunities but wasn't to be. Hats of to the Dracs better side on the day and we go again next Saturday determined to bounce back and put this behind us.
👏 Big thanks to those who came down to support the lads yesterday.
As gutting as this result feels (one of the lowest ive felt in a long time tbh) lets also be very proud of how far we've come. For only the second time (last year qf ) in our entire history we have reached the League Cup Quarters and we currently sit 3rd in the Alliance Prem League one point between us and the League leaders. Nobody outside gave us much of a chance at the start of the season yet how exciting is it we have it all to play for with just 12 games to go !!. Lets continue to get 100% behind these fantastic lads who week in week out are working thier socks off , defying the odds and putting it all out there for this Club who they proud to represent. Cheers Pow #TooStrong #CmonTheCoed

Update on the club merger.
Our business plan has been submitted to BCBC which will see us taking on the lease of Woodlands and expanding our two pitches to four over the next twelve months.
We are applying to the Charity Commission to expand our footprint across South Wales and we are in talks with local businesses for mutual benefits such as match day catering, club training kits, and new match kits for all our teams in the 2019/20 season.
... For the senior team to progress in their ambitions to more senior league football then we will be bringing to Pencoed the first spectator stands in our history. And like the local giants such as Afan Lido then we have future ambitions to base academy football which will provide further foundations to the ambitions of our current male senior sides and future female senior sides to play in the bigger leagues.
The future is bright for our club and our town with your continuing support. Thank you from all at the new Pencoed Athletic Boys and Girls club.

16/2/19 SWAL PREM Result Pencoed Ath 4-0 Ton&Gelli Scorers : B Pascoe. P Martin aka the wall. R Lewis. Abelem aka Bill.
Another fine win for the Coed at home to a young hardworking Ton side. Yesterday missing the injured Ashley Beckett , Shaun Williams and Mason Roach.
... Coed totally dominated the first half going 1-0 up through midfield maesteo Brenig Pascoe for his 1st goal for the Club 💪 then our 2nd by a Paul the wall bullet header and our 3rd from joint top scorer Richie Lewis. ( video footage below of 3rd goal ). Really could of been 5 or 6 at the break with Coed back to their free flowing style of football . HT 3-0
Second half saw Ton throw caution to the wind going 3-3-4. Coed had early golden opportunities to stretch further away . Missed Penalty and other chances went begging. Ton continued to look for a goal and create a few chances but thwarted by a once again strong defence and Ricci Burton in goals. Jack Teisar made his 1st league appearance from the bench and immediately caused problems with his pace and strength. Another 2 subs were involved for Coeds 4th. Griff Williams crossing for Bill to nod home his second goal for the Club to seal the 3 points and another clean sheet !
Big thanks to all the support yesterday , in full voice when the lino went kicking 🤣.
Also well done to our reserves on another victory beating Penyfai 3-2 away in the Cup..noteable performances from Jordan Burrows and Kyle Owen 👏
Next up for the 1sts is another Home League game v Caerphilly . Kick off 2:30pm Velindre Road.
