What an amazing venue!!

A massive thank you to all staff at Pencoed House for allowing us to have such a magical wedding day. Everything was perfect!

A special thank you to Andrew who ran our day - simply amazing! Everybody loved you!Also, thank you, to Jenna and Darren who were always on hand throughout the planning process.

Our guests are full of compliments for the venue and staff. Both children and adults had a blast!

The accommodation is beautiful, and the breakfast area is a great addition for the morning after.

What an amazing place!

I loved it before I’d even got to the bottom of the driveway, it was exactly what id pictured in my mind all along.

From the very first visit until the minute we left this morning everyone was wonderful. Helpful, polite and very attentive. Nothing was ever too much trouble and they were always on hand to answer my many questions or put my mind at ease. The whole day ran like clockwork and it was absolutely perfect. I was worried about not setting up myself as I have a bit of ocd however there was no need, the instructions were followed to the ‘T’ and the whole place looked lovely. All of the guests commented on how wonderful the food was and nobody left hungry! The wonderful team felt like friends and we were so sad when it was all over, thank you so much everyone it was the best day of our lives x

Well we can't thank Pencoed House enough for everything.

The build up to the wedding and the day, nothing was too much trouble.

The attention to detail was second too none.

Staff, venue, accommodation ....every little detail was amazing.

We had our wedding reception at the venue just over 3 weeks ago and have to say the service at PHE was outstanding. Jamie was so welcoming showing us around on our first visit and we knew in our hearts this was "the one" for us! We wanted a barn venue with pretty grounds for our mexican theme and this one ticked all of the boxes. Jenna and Johana were both fantastic points of reference whenever we needed to call for some advice and the on the day the service from Darren and Andrew (as well as the bar staff) was exceptional. We were lucky enough to be blessed with some great weather and managed to make full use of the beautiful grounds and we cannot wait to see our professional photos! I'd also like to mention how clean and comfortable the bridal suite was and the breakfast was fantastic too! Thank you SO much for everything! It was a magical day, one we will never forget and one that everyone thoroughly enjoyed. Mr and Mrs Garnés x

We got married here on 2nd June 2017 and the day went flawlessly! I can’t fault any part of it, the team are so professional and attentive and make you feel so welcome. The venue is so beautiful, as soon as we went through the gates, we fell in love. And to top it off, we received a first anniversary card today aswell � Such a wonderful team. Thankyou so much. ps. We got married here last Saturday and what an amazing day we had!! As soon as we saw Pencoed House we both fell in love with it’s rustic and fairytale image. The whole team were amazing, always there to answer my numerous emails. Darran made the whole day run so smoothly, he made sure everything was on time and couldn’t have been more helpful. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a venue for their big day.

We got married here back in August and could not recommend this venue any more! From the minute we were shown around the venue (before booking) to the minute we were packing up as the new Mr & Mrs we were made to feel like the only bride and groom there was.



Jenna responded to every email within a very short time and always was able to help and give suggestions if needed.



Jamie and Darren were absolutely fantastic on the day and provided excellent service to make sure the day ran smoothly and helped with some humour and cheeky banter through out. The owner Judy even came and had a drink to celebrate with us in the night.



We wouldn't change anything at all about the venue/ people / service we had.

We got married here about two weeks ago and cannot recommend this venue enough! As soon as we visited the venue we knew exactly that this was the place we would pick, it's absolutely perfect and so intimate! The venue itself and the grounds are beautiful, pictures really do not do this place justice and would advise anyone to visit to really see how amazing it is. Also, I can't thank all the staff there, the day was amazing and the staff couldn't do enough for us and our guests and they made sure every little detail was perfect! We got married at Pencoed house last weekend and all I can say is wow. We fell in love with the venue the first time we saw it, the staff were amazing from the get go! Our wedding on the 23rd June was everything we could have hoped for. The day (courtesy of Jamie, Darren and the team) could not have gone more smoothly and hassle free! We were looked after from start to finish and we didn't have to worry about a thing, you are made to feel at ease and that nothing is too much to ask. As pretty as the venue is without decorations, it was overwhelming to see the hall all dressed up as we had asked for the wedding breakfast.

We had a heck of a party and our guests danced all night! We haven't heard the end of it, best feeling ever.

I just wish we could do it again!

My husband and I had our wedding reception at Pencoed House on Sunday and it was absolutely incredible! The venue is set in the most gorgeous grounds, and even though it rained more last weekend than the whole summer thus far, it was still beautiful and the huge parasols meant that we could all still spend time outside! A number of our guests stayed on site and commented on how wonderful the accommodation is. Also, the cooked breakfast was delicious - just what we needed the next morning!



The staff are phenomenal - a special mention to Jenna & Darren who always responded to my never ending emails, and also to Jamie who made sure our day ran without a hitch. He brought us drinks throughout the evening, kept our guests laughing and went above and beyond for us, even repairing broken centre pieces and staying far later than his clocking out time. It was a stretch for me to relinquish control and let the staff do their thing by decorating the hall and organising everything, but I needn’t have worried at all, it looked absolutely fantastic!



Thank you so much to everyone involved, we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day!

My husband and I got married here last week, and we couldn’t ask for anything better. From the moment we saw Pencoed we knew it would be the wedding venue for us, the venue and it’s grounds are naturally beautiful. All the staff were brilliant from the time we booked, they replied to our endless questions via phone and email and nothing was too much. I can’t thank you all enough. On the day everything ran so smoothly, a particular thanks to Darren who was amazing at keeping everything calm and on time. Cresta caterers served the most beautiful food, the DJ involved in the package was brilliant, and the flowers provided be the florist last minute (we already chose a different florist but she brought some to display around the venue last minute) were beautiful. The perfect venue, and amazing staff, would not hesitate to recommend. Thank you xx

Just wanted to say a massive thank you to everyone at Pencoed House for helping to make my daughter and new son in laws wedding day on Saturday such an amazingly perfect day. Everyone has been so helpful, from the very outset, when we met Jamie on the open day in April, right through until Saturday night when we left. Thank you so much to Dai and Andrew for being on hand on Saturday and making sure everything was just right. The venue is just beautiful and looked stunning on Saturday. So many guests complemented us on our choice of venue and said how beautiful and perfect a setting it is.

I don't know where to start. Everything about this venue is amazing. The staff can't do enough for you our wedding day ran like clock work and they took away any worries I had. The venue itself is incredible, everyone commented on how lush it was, you will have some lovely wedding pics. We used cresta as our caterer the food was so tasty and I can safely say that nobody left hungry. I can't thank Joe and Jamie enough for our wonderful wedding day, it really was the best day of my life!!!

I cannot thank Pencoed House enough for the effort they put into making our wedding so unique and special, it was just perfect. The venue itself is simply stunning, its unique, beautifully kept and private, our guests were blown away by it.
