All. It would appear that this page has either a bug or has been hacked. As a result, would anyone wishing to book any facilities, please contact Michele on 07709 073912, or me, Sten, on 07412 130283. Would you all please share this far and wide. We have already lost some particularly lucrative business!!! Thanks all. SHD.

Team work at its finest this evening. Thanks to the Under 14s Dad’s, Gareth Hurley and our Chairman. The fence is now safe from trips and sharp injuries. Thanks guys 😊

Fancy a different challenge in your life? A new triathlon club has just formed 'Pen-y-bont tri'. You don't have to be good at the 3 events, you will be given expert advice from our fantastic coaches David Joey Howland, Anthony Isaac, Helen Packman and Chris Bluck, these guys are patient, helpful & very encouraging. If I can do this anyone can. Message me for any information or a chat. It's a brilliant friendly club with members of all ages and abilities. Try something NEW πŸŠβ€β™€οΈπŸƒβ€β™€οΈπŸš΄β€β™€οΈ&q uot;Up the Bont"

With our 130th Anniversary season fast approaching, the important position of club captain has now been resolved. It would be fair to say that in view of the important season ahead the criteria needed for this position is more important than normal. Dedication, respect, ability, knowledge of the game and the ability to still function under pressure the more obvious ones. After much cogitation by those responsible no one stood out!! Only kidding everyone. One Pencoed stalwart ...is able to tick all those boxes. It is my honour and pleasure to announce that the First XV captain for next season is our very own Dano Howells. It is my pleasure to be the first to publicly congratulate you Dano. It would be remiss of me not to thank and wish a speedy recovery to our outgoing captain Kieron Moore. Dano's first outing as captain is this coming Saturday, 11th August, in a home friendly against Cefn Coed. Try and make every effort to pop along and show your support for Dano and his team. SHD

Photo doesn’t give a true picture of the great evening at the club . Integration across all ages within the club and valley commandos there to support and watch the youth team play . An unfortunate loss but so rewarding to see the club growing in positivity and everyone finally coming together for the greater good πŸ”΄βšͺοΈπŸ”΅

Following the success of yesterday's inter club touch rugby tournament, I would like to share my thoughts on some possible awards for yesterday. As they are my thoughts and mine alone, they in no way represent the thoughts of anyone else who attended. No animals were hurt in the production of these thoughts. Idiot of the day:- Gareth Roberts. I've put this first as it was the first thought that popped into my head. I will give myself a mention in this category. Even though I ...did enjoy the whole day, what was I thinking volunteering to referee sides that had players in, that I was giving 50 years to!!! Pest of the day:- Shane Izzat. Second because it didn't require much thinking to arrive at this decision. Special mention in this category goes to Dano Howells. What a pair of pricks they can be, in case anyone reading didn't already realise. Come back of the day:- Dai Clarke. Thought he was going to have a nice relaxing day in the sun only to answer the call to help with refereeing, Special mention here to all the coaches who put up and showed their teams how it is done. Exceptional performances from all. Player of the tournament:- Hannah Marshall. Part of my thought process was how old the player is and therefore experience of playing rugby. What a prospect!! I will certainly be taking a keen interest in Hannah's developement. A mention in this category for Dewi Cross and Sam Costellow. Not for their talents, which are well known and documented, but because they were were actively there, remembering where it all started for them. Best of luck for the future lads. Final thoughts, sincere thanks to all behind the scenes who were instrumental in the smooth running of the whole day. Also to 'Coops', another who remembers where it all started, for presenting seniors over with the cup. It is the intention to make this an annual event. Thanks to all who took part and hope to see you all next year. Also, thanks to all who turned up to support. SHD.
