Penrallt Goch Poultry & Glamping

Stayed for a weekend in the land pod, the hosts were amazing nothing was too much trouble We arrived late but the fire was started and fresh eggs for the morning had been delivered, we did have a leek in the airbed but that was quickly sorted out. The pod was so warm and cosy, and so dark too it was easy to sleep in, the kitchen was well equipped and even found that there was a stash of marshmallows and sticks for the campfire. The compost toilet strangely doesn't smell like you would imagine and the shower is great, the location was idyllic, on a small working farm in the middle of nowhere, but close enough to towns and attractions, was a very relaxing get away I couldn't have asked for anything more. I did manage to take a peek in the Safari tent and will definitely be coming back next year with the kids we still have a few more places to see in the area and are already glamping fans! If I had to give a con, which isn't really a fault of the hosts but of nature, as we stayed on the last weekend of the season the field was very wet and my car did get stuck but thankfully the hostess came to our rescue, so I would suggest that guests don't park next to their chosen tent/pod and stay up by the house in the wetter months it's only a short walk to the house anyway :D

We've just returned from our first glamping holiday- a 2 night break in the safari tent and we loved it!! Rachel greeted us with a very warm welcome and showed us to the tent and gave us all the info we needed. The tent is very spacious and kitted out with all the essentials and the fresh eggs were a tasty bonus!! There is so much space around the tent too- it really gave us an "away from it all" feeling and our two dogs were loving exploring the field. The shower and compost toilet in the horse box was great, and certainly a highlight for our three-year old daughter Georgie. We enjoyed some lovely walks nearby and Rachel was so kind to let Georgie "help" with feeding and brushing the horses and showing us the turkeys, chickens and ducks! We would have loved to stay longer but also know that we shall return very soon to this charming, peaceful farm. Thank you again and see you soon

Penralltgoch Glamping Campsite.
Please be aware this campsite is operating despite having received a solicitors instructions informing they must cease immediately. They do not have the right to give campers or any other commercial ventures the right of access. The drive, over half a mile in length, and the only means of reaching the campsite, is owned outright by the neighbours Penralltgoch Isaf. The owners of the drive do not give permission for campers to use their drive. The owners do however have the right to block anyone illegally using the drive in or out for camping or commercial activities. Also be aware the structures have been inspected by Pembrokeshire County Council Planning department and Penralltgoch have been instructed the structures are illegal. Planning permission was never applied for and the council said "it is highly unlikely to be given". Penralltgoch campsite structures must be removed by October.
Greener Camping Club who promote this site are fully aware of the illegal structures and illegal access and are "comfortable" to promote the site. Ethical company promoting running legal campsites? Obviously not! However they do get £10.00 for every camping unit booked. Motivated by lining their own pocket clearly even when it means breaking the law. I would strongly advise anyone to take this information into consideration before booking.
