GRILL CHEF VACANCY
As a Grill Chef you’ll prepare, cook and present our food to brand specification, getting it right first time, every time even during peak times. Really enjoyed the meal and lovely staff very friendly and helpful never had any cause for complaint and I have been here on a number of occasions well done to you all.

Came here yesterday, to celebrate me & my boyfriends 4th year together. We booked last minute, super busy, my meal was delicious, one of the best I had!



The waitress serving was super nice, really cheerful

12 of our family had Easter Sunday lunch here yesterday. Lovely meal. Excellent service and a lovely waitress served us. First visit here and thoroughly enjoyed our experience

To be fair we didn't know how many were turning up to our event but they were very understanding that we gave late number and although we waited nearly an hour for our food it all came out within 5 mins so excellent by doing that as it was Saturday about 530pm when we turned up and it was quite busy.........

That said the food was good and the atmosphere good as well will go back if that way again....

I love this place as a rule always been the 1st one there plus used to work there, but Xmas day was appalling the service we received was standard don’t think one member of staff smiled at us let alone said merry Xmas! the waitress just couldn’t be bothered everything was to much effort she put all our food on one end of the table and told us to pass it down bare in mind we had 3 children with us not a merry Xmas or have Santa been totall pig ignorant! I the worse service I’ve ever received total dissapointed from one of the best food places I like to eat!!!!

Every time we have eaten there in the past the food has been very nice, yesterday the food was awful re-heated chips and the soup was cold, also the steak burger had been re-hrated and tasted stale. The service on the other hand was excellent thanks to Danieel Johnson who could not of been any more helpfull very professional.

Pre booked a table with receptionist next door with Premier Inn. Arrived at Table Table at 6:30pm only to be told reservation was made for tomorrow night. But we were seated, but were told had to be finished before 8pm. Ordered to main meals and waited a good hour to be served. Bearing in mind we had to be finished by certain time.

Both meals were poor quality.

The haddock fish cakes were bland and not cooked through properly, nearly cold. The mixed salad wasn't that, it was only cos lettuce and a few wedges of tomato.

The mixed vegetable filo parcel was bland in flavour, soggy pastry and again wasn't heated through properly. It was served with ratatouille, which was mainly sauce and hardly any vegetable that were meant be be in it.



The staff/customer service was poor with no apology for meals being served late. The kitchen staff need to pick up the pace and put a lot more care and effort making the meals.

I giving 2 star as walked in with my daughter and son and was asked had we booked if not they was fully booked up and no tables. Also the women made a point of saying hour wait on food. So we went to bar got our drinks and found a table near bar. Food came in no time. As we left the the main section where we would have liked to had a table was mostly empty. So very bad customer service. And very rude lady. Need learns be more nicer to customers! Clearly was not fully booked!!

Girls behind bar one really good stayed several times before over the last five years the other with tattoos didn'twant to be there , the other issue last night ordered a medium rare steak ,received a piece of charcoal didn't eat after really long day that started at five am complained no response what so ever not impressed

think you need to sort out your mixed grill there is a problem when a fried egg can hide half a chicken breast and a piece of stake !!!! i know i had 40% voucher but think you cut 40% of the food !!!

Wouldn't have given 1 star but had to so I could leave comment.. they have ruined my mothers 70th birthday and left us with no time to book any where else booked in for 30 people for Saturday 14th October went over picked menus up same day as I booked it because I was told on the phone to put order in before hand as we had one with nut allergy.... went back tonight with order to be told we wasn't even booked in and there's no room for us now ether tamping!!!! was made to feel it was our fault that we hadn't even booked it he treated us like we had made the whole thing up but why would I pick menus up for a meal that hadn't even been book and why would the same girl that booked us in hand us the menus not even an apology will never eat there again!!!

What do I recommend about this restaurant? Absolutely nothing at all!!!!

Just come back from a catch up with my friend sickened to the thought of my food. After arriving, I went up to order my food and drink (orange fanta) went back to drink it and it was just water, the lady behind the bar apologised and gave me a fresh drink so I Went back to sit down to wait for my food. Minutes later my friends food arrived, but no sign of mine, the manager apologised and said mine was cooking and on its way. It arrived and I started to eat, after a mouthful of my fish I noticed that my fish was FROZEN !! I had to go and find a member of staff, she came and took my food and asked if I wanted anything else off the menu! NO CHANCE.

I had my money back for my food, but still no explanation of why my food had arrived at such an unsatisfactory manner! 20 minutes later we were ready to leave, (not seeing any member of staff let alone manager). As leaving, we asked to see the manager, he came and basically said complain online no real explanation or apology! Absolutely disgusting, will never ever eat at this place again ���

My 8oz steak was smaller than the burger my sister had and my plate was swimming in water from the peas and mushrooms which I had asked not to have as I don't like them. The chips were luke warm and soggy from the water. When I sent it back, they had just taken the food off my plate and put onto a new one with no replacements. Definitely won't be returning!

We were a family of 11 for xmas day the food was absolutely awful , we asked for a bowl of soup for the under 2 child and was told we could if we paid £15.99 for her course we just wanted to order a bowl of soup and was tld no, the desserts were like slop and defo not a trifle service was poor and will defo not be returning we were only there 1hr 40min as staff were getting ready to leave and u could see they wanted us out so they could finish

Waited 10 minutes to get served and they stop serving food outside at 5pm in this weather. So if you work full-time I wouldn’t bother

Out of 10 people I had the hog roast it was very dry inside could have done with some gravy when the waitress came to the table to clear up I told her she said she would see her boss she came back and said there was no charge. Most establishment I have been to the waitress comes round to check if meal is OK but not here.

The haddock fish cakes were bland and not cooked through properly, nearly cold. The mixed salad wasn't that, it was only cos lettuce and a few wedges of tomato.

The mixed vegetable filo parcel was bland in flavour, soggy pastry and again wasn't heated through properly. It was served with ratatouille, which was mainly sauce and hardly any vegetable that were meant be be in it.



The staff/customer service was poor with no apology for meals being served late. The kitchen staff need to pick up the pace and put a lot more care and effort making the meals.

I giving 2 star as walked in with my daughter and son and was asked had we booked if not they was fully booked up and no tables. Also the women made a point of saying hour wait on food. So we went to bar got our drinks and found a table near bar. Food came in no time. As we left the the main section where we would have liked to had a table was mostly empty. So very bad customer service. And very rude lady. Need learns be more nicer to customers! Clearly was not fully booked!!

Girls behind bar one really good stayed several times before over the last five years the other with tattoos didn'twant to be there , the other issue last night ordered a medium rare steak ,received a piece of charcoal didn't eat after really long day that started at five am complained no response what so ever not impressed

think you need to sort out your mixed grill there is a problem when a fried egg can hide half a chicken breast and a piece of stake !!!! i know i had 40% voucher but think you cut 40% of the food !!!

Wouldn't have given 1 star but had to so I could leave comment.. they have ruined my mothers 70th birthday and left us with no time to book any where else booked in for 30 people for Saturday 14th October went over picked menus up same day as I booked it because I was told on the phone to put order in before hand as we had one with nut allergy.... went back tonight with order to be told we wasn't even booked in and there's no room for us now ether tamping!!!! was made to feel it was our fault that we hadn't even booked it he treated us like we had made the whole thing up but why would I pick menus up for a meal that hadn't even been book and why would the same girl that booked us in hand us the menus not even an apology will never eat there again!!!

Just come back from a catch up with my friend sickened to the thought of my food. After arriving, I went up to order my food and drink (orange fanta) went back to drink it and it was just water, the lady behind the bar apologised and gave me a fresh drink so I Went back to sit down to wait for my food. Minutes later my friends food arrived, but no sign of mine, the manager apologised and said mine was cooking and on its way. It arrived and I started to eat, after a mouthful of my fish I noticed that my fish was FROZEN !! I had to go and find a member of staff, she came and took my food and asked if I wanted anything else off the menu! NO CHANCE.

I had my money back for my food, but still no explanation of why my food had arrived at such an unsatisfactory manner! 20 minutes later we were ready to leave, (not seeing any member of staff let alone manager). As leaving, we asked to see the manager, he came and basically said complain online no real explanation or apology! Absolutely disgusting, will never ever eat at this place again ���

Went here yesterday and it was terrible! My 8oz steak was smaller than the burger my sister had and my plate was swimming in water from the peas and mushrooms which I had asked not to have as I don't like them. The chips were luke warm and soggy from the water. When I sent it back, they had just taken the food off my plate and put onto a new one with no replacements. Definitely won't be returning!

We were a family of 11 for xmas day the food was absolutely awful , we asked for a bowl of soup for the under 2 child and was told we could if we paid £15.99 for her course we just wanted to order a bowl of soup and was tld no, the desserts were like slop and defo not a trifle service was poor and will defo not be returning we were only there 1hr 40min as staff were getting ready to leave and u could see they wanted us out so they could finish

Waited 10 minutes to get served and they stop serving food outside at 5pm in this weather. So if you work full-time I wouldn’t bother

Out of 10 people I had the hog roast it was very dry inside could have done with some gravy when the waitress came to the table to clear up I told her she said she would see her boss she came back and said there was no charge. Most establishment I have been to the waitress comes round to check if meal is OK but not here.

Really enjoyed the meal and lovely staff very friendly and helpful never had any cause for complaint and I have been here on a number of occasions well done to you all.

Came here yesterday, to celebrate me & my boyfriends 4th year together. We booked last minute, super busy, my meal was delicious, one of the best I had!



The waitress serving was super nice, really cheerful

12 of our family had Easter Sunday lunch here yesterday. Lovely meal. Excellent service and a lovely waitress served us. First visit here and thoroughly enjoyed our experience

To be fair we didn't know how many were turning up to our event but they were very understanding that we gave late number and although we waited nearly an hour for our food it all came out within 5 mins so excellent by doing that as it was Saturday about 530pm when we turned up and it was quite busy.........

That said the food was good and the atmosphere good as well will go back if that way again....

I love this place as a rule always been the 1st one there plus used to work there, but Xmas day was appalling the service we received was standard don’t think one member of staff smiled at us let alone said merry Xmas! the waitress just couldn’t be bothered everything was to much effort she put all our food on one end of the table and told us to pass it down bare in mind we had 3 children with us not a merry Xmas or have Santa been totall pig ignorant! I the worse service I’ve ever received total dissapointed from one of the best food places I like to eat!!!!

Every time we have eaten there in the past the food has been very nice, yesterday the food was awful re-heated chips and the soup was cold, also the steak burger had been re-hrated and tasted stale. The service on the other hand was excellent thanks to Danieel Johnson who could not of been any more helpfull very professional.
