well i have been going to peppers regular now atleast once every 2 weeks for lunch with my 2 friends usually on a wednesday , we went yesterday which was tuesday and still had a fab meal as always and the staff was still very nice an helpful BUT must say we missed our girl beck , you know what beck she just makes our visit there so very pleasant an always make our day we just love her , onto the food well what can i say everything i have ever had as always been perfect my friends to an there isn't much on the menu we haven't tried , but the reason for my review today is to tell everyone about the best desert i have ever had which was there the butterscott an walnut gateaux omg it is fab to the point i have ordered a whole one from there for next week so my family can have the pleasure of tasting it instead of just hearing about it from me , 1000%its the best place to eat in aberdare x

Well just got home from a fab catch up with the lovely Sarah Owen, and I have to say that Peppers restaurant has just provided some of the nicest food I've ever had, the starter was to die for, the duck was the best I've ever had and the naughty bit of old school jam and coconut sponge and custard was yummy, the wine was really nice and the staff were fab, in all fairness Sarah made my night, lol, but will definitely be booking Peppers again, thank you and our compliments to the chef, A******

Me and my Dad visited for the first time on Sunday, wow, what an excellent Restaurant.



The food is excellent, the Staff are very very good and the atmosphere was very relaxed.



Will be returning for definite

Lovely staff and food always gorgeous. Most of all, Peppers milky coffee is the best coffee ever!

Lovely roast dinner on Sunday, my first visit and I will definetly return.

Lovely meal, really great, couldn’t knock it.

Really glad we happened to stumble across your restaurant on a snowy Sunday before we head home to Newcastle-under-Lyme.

I've visited Peppers on several occasions since they have become accessible. The staff are excellent and are extremely helpful with regard to making room and using the lift. My last meal was a chicken curry and rice, which was stunning. I’d highly recommend eating here, or just calling in for a coffee.

I went for an evening meal last night for the first time and it was beautiful. I really enjoyed and my fiance really enjoyed his meal. Everything was a big success, the service, the food, the atmosphere and the staff. We will be returning again xx

I recommend this place very much if I was living near I would be there for my Sunday lunch

I am a regular customer at Peppers and love each visit. Very polite and friendly staff.

Coffee, hot chocolate and food is amazing. If ever we get family visitors from away, we recommend lunch /coffee here!!

Highlight of our culinary week Sunday Lunch here. Can be a touch slow when very busy but the service and food is always top notch.

Had our works party here for 19 people. Service and Meal was absolutely spot on. Plenty of food and delicious! The place was full but the staff were very efficient and friendly. Will definitely go back

Decided on Sunday lunch here today as a last minute thing. No booking made. Waiting staff were lovely and found us a table on the ground floor as mother can't do stairs. Hubby and I enjoyed a delicious roast lamb (mam had beef) which was plentiful. 4 veg plus potatoes. Dessert was scrummy...Blackberry and blackcurrant frangipane (nomnomnom) with custard for me, hubby had roulade and mam had jam and coconut sponge with custard.

Other diners appeared to be regulars and the manageress was very courteous and helped older ladies up and down the couple of steps into the dining area which I thought was very considerate.

Look forward to our next visit....

Beautiful Sunday lunch. Lovely dessert menu. Great restaurant. The attention to detail with the decor and food was 5 stars. The owner pouring his customers wine is a great personal touch. Can't wait to try the evening menu.

An amazing place ! Food fantastic and staff very helpful

Nice food, very agreeable surroundings, not the biggest portions ever, therefore a shade more expensive than I thought it should be. Eventually served by a nice young fella after a young girl forgot about us. I would go back but would like a big bigger portion for the money.

My husband and myself went there yesterday around 3.15pm. my husband had roast beef dinner and I had cheeseburger and chips. While my husband enjoyed his dinner, I regreted ordering the cheeseburger. It was burnt black both sides but looked raw inside and the chips were hard, I even used some of his gravy to try and soften them. I have always enjoyed going to Peppers but not yesterday afternoon , when asked at the till how was our meal. I did get a sorry that you did not enjoy your meal. It's not that they were busy, there was only 2 others who were there ordering food.

Decided to have lunch out today. Thought we would give Peppers a try. Turned up just after 3pm(the sign outside said Sunday 11-4pm).Told by staff that last orders were at 3pm but they would ask the kitchen staff if there was anything left. I took a picture of the sign outside and there was no mention of last orders being at 3pm. Shown to a table by a waitress who looked less than happy to be serving us and when we asked for starters she replied”oh, you want starters, I’ll have to check with the kitchen “. She seemed really annoyed dealing with us! The rest of the staff were pleasant enough and the food was ok, but we didn’t stay for dessert and didn’t ask for another glass of wine. Won’t be rushing back! Really wanted to support a local business but customer service from that particular individual was poor.

Well very disappointed today with the Sunday roast at Peppers roast potatoe was hard need a saw to cut through it , only 3little new potatoes which weren't cooked properly and my husband veg wasnt very warm .standard has dropped and when we asked for the ice-cream menu the girls looked at us as if we were aliens.always had a lovely food there.not anymore Sunday's .
