I've just recapped a lovely Meridian 557 power amplifier. The Mundorf mains smoothing capacitors look very fetching in their black & gold jackets.

Bring me THE HEART of the radiogram!
A whole large wooden radiogram does not fit on my bench so I had to perform open heart surgery on this one to free a seized tuning capacitor.

This oscilloscope I built from a kit came in handy today. Being battery powered it is isolated from the mains supply. It made fault finding on the Manticore Mantra turntable electronic power supply (which is not isolated) less hazardous.
