Remember that if you are considering building in the Spring, that you need to get the process rolling soon. The Local Authority can take about 6 to 8 weeks to process the Planning Application ( covering what your building looks like and what spaces are in it ) and then something similar to process the Building Regulations Application ( How it is actually built ). So really my work would need to start a minimum of 4 months before you want to start building.
