Well stocked, gets busy on weekends.

I was in this store today just happened to walk past the dog groomers and this poor little dog was getting told off by this young girl for not staying still she was so horrible to this poor dog how I never said nothing I don't know I will go there for food and accessories but no way would I leave my shih tzu's there you think you're leaving them there for a nice groom and being looked after but how many other dogs have been mistreated like this

I would never ever take my dog there again. As soon as I entered the store I could hear my dog crying, I went to the groom room and the girl that was cutting him was holding him in the air by his tail. He is a tiny dog and there was no need of it. She didn't even apologise when I went in there, just talked very down to myself and my husband. I will never go there again and I have also told pet owners that I know and now they won't go there either. It makes you think what are these people doing to our dogs while we are not there!

Lovely staff and very helpful. Prices are reasonable although they could get more small animals cages in store but the staff help in store and on the phone is amazing. I phoned around all Pets At Home stores to see what gender of rats they had there and Newport and Cwmbran were the lovliest. I recommend that if you are to buy some animal or anything and you need help with it, go to Kimberely (dark hair) and Kade (blonde with glasses) they are the two most helpful people.
Very clean and the animals are in amazing condition! Staff are lovely towards any pets brought in and very inquisitive (ask questions and love petting them)

Guys there are always extremely helpful. Very knowledgeable and approachable.
