Petwise will be holding the next face your fears day on 04/08/18 from 10am to 5pm. Throughout the day there will be animal handling, face painting (£1per person) and also there will be a bush tucker trail held at 2:30pm. There is also raffle tickets being sold at £1 per strip from the 4th July to win some amazing reptile related prizes. Raffle draw will be saturday 1st september . Dont forget to tell your family and friends. all money raised on the day will be donated to PONT charity based in Pontypridd. see you there

What fantastic service. My dog is allergic to loads he can only have 1 type of dog food. They have to order it in with no problem they order it when I need it ring me to tell me it’s ordered and then ring to tell me it’s there. They remember me and my dog when I ring.

Went down to Face my fear yesterday. I want to get over my fear of spiders and I've been taking it little steps at a time. But yesterday I cannot believe,not only did I manage to be in the same room as a Tarantula,I actually held one � The staff were amazing,especially Nikki who really helped me. It was not as bad as I thought and it was actually quite a beautiful creature! I had my nephews with me,which helped as I had to be brave haha! They really enjoyed themselves and loved holding all the reptiles. Thank you so much �

We attended the 'face your fears day' today. I took a 12, 4 and 1 year old and they all loved it! They all had an opportunity to handle a variety of species. The staff were friendly and helpful. We use this shop regularly to see all the animals so it was nice to see them out of their enclosures and be able to handle them. We normally buy aquarium items here and staff are always on hand with advice.

We attended Saturday 'face your fears' event with the fabulous staff at Petwise bringing along my 10 yr old daughter and my partners grandson, 3. They had the most enjoyable afternoon wrapping snakes around their necks and ferrets climbing their bodies .. brilliant.

Fab patience from all the staff there, will definitely come again. Thank you.

Was traveling back from Cardiff and thought we'd call in and have a look see what you had, amazed at the choice of birds and loved the fact they had large aviaries, ended coming away with two beautiful budgies. The guy I spoke to also seemed to know what I was talking about. Will definitely be back even though it's quite a trip from us. Would be great if you could update your page with any new birds you get in so can see what range you have every so often. Thanks again

Visited tonight to choose a leopard gecko for our son. The staff are amazing & clearly know everything there is to know about the animals they care for and were so helpful and friendly. It's a brilliant store we chose our gecko & her varium and all the extras all at really good prices. I can't wait to pick her up in time for Christmas. Thank you again �

Today we visited pet wise to to stock up on some supplies for our pets and to take the opportunity for me to get over my fear of snakes with the face your fear session I managed to not only touch a snake but hold one with both hands. What an amazing experience in a safe environment with very knowledgable people who have plenty of time for the customer and guests visiting thanks again Jamie , Nicky and other staff involved see you all again soon

Today my partner and I bought a Leopard gecko and with the help of Scott we got all the help and information and after care we need before we bought the gecko, he was so kind and lovely and he couldn't of done any more, so happy with the customer service from Scott and everyone else who worked there today and one very happy gecko :) thank you all for you help

The staff here are fantastic! They really know their stuff & can advise on so much being pet owners of various animals themselves. The different reptiles they have is fantastic & I’ve had so much great advice that I personally don’t want to go anywhere else! High quality, great customer service, good prices & not a chain! �

Really good v alue for money on snake food and they have a good range of stock too plus they are always on hand to give good advice about your pet especially as we keep reptiles so its good to know there are people to ask. My son loves the shop looking at the snakes etc. He loves them. this will be my new shop for food and supplies from now on. Brilliant

My staffy has been loosing her fur over the last couple of months, 2 bald patches either side of her body and what looked like dandruff over her coat. We took her to the vets who advised she will need blood tests to check her thyroids & stress maybe causing this. We explained to the team at PetWise what was happening to her skin/fur, they advised to change her food and to try their own food range.

4 weeks after her eating the PetWise dried food her coat is back healthier than it has ever been - thank you to the team for the advice and recommendation we have a healthy pup again �

I've had terrible trouble with my 6 month old pup pulling on the lead. This weekend Gemma has changed our whole walking experience. Taking the time to help us with all the different leads, Halti and harnesses. Within half an hour she is now a completely different dog. Customer service is brilliant and a vast range of products.

Got our leopard gecko and now a crested gecko from here, really friendly and always happy to help and both reptiles are lovely, thanks guys �

First visit here, very impressed and will definitely be back. Great variety of animals, everything very clean and all look very healthy and well cared for. Scott was great, and very patient in catching the birds we wanted for our new aviary - all happy and settled in now. Thanks to all the staff, and Scott in particular. See you again soon.

Came here with a friend just to have a "look" at a gecko. Jamie was amazing and spent plenty of time explaining everything to is about the upkeep etc. Np question was too much for him. Excellent customer service and would definitely recommend for anyone thinking of purchasing.

Called in today to buy some gold fish and for the face your fears day my kids loved looking at the snake and having their face painted
