Pgl Tregoyd House

PGL Tregoyd House was fortunate enough to host Project Get Together on the 6-8 July - a weekend where refugees and asylum seekers now living in South Wales could have a residential activity experience. They were joined by other young people from various local schools with a view to learning about each other's cultures and common interests.
Guests were from a number of different countries including: Sudan, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Syria, Malaysia, South Sudan, Iran, Afghanistan, Ira...q, Iran, Somalia, Vietnam, DRC, Pakistan, Slovakia, Wales, England, Argentina.
The weekend opened with guest speaker, Kirsty Williams, Education Minister for Wales and was closed with a blessing from the Archbishop of Wales, with an inspirational speaker, Scary Guy on the Saturday Night:

i went here last year and the year before it was the best holiday had ever been on, the staff there were amazing and were so funny to talk to. the best place to go ever

We have spent the last week here with our year 6s, they have loved it and achieved so much. The staff are brilliant and Robyn, our group leader for the week, was outstanding, the kids wanted to bring her home with us. Thanks PGL Tregoyd

We have just had the best party ever (to quote the birthday girl and her guests) . Everything was done for us, the staff at Tregoyd were all so friendly and they were great with the kids and a special thank you to Imogen who handled the kids magnificently. We will be booking another party next year, and more as soon as the boys are old enough. Thank you so much for making her 9th birthday party so memorable.�

Very pleased with Tregoyd House the staff there were encouraging but not pushy. Very impressed

Well worth it and it looks like we will be back next year the girls want to thank Charlie and all the team for making them feel so welcome and safe, see you next year. We would recommend this for any brownie or guides pack holiday.

My son has had the time of his life at PGL Tregoyd House! We can't thank you enough. Where else would he get to do: fencing, archery, rifle shooting, zip wiring, trapeze, climbing, abseiling, kayaking, raft building, hiking, aero ball, Jacobs ladder, problem solving, assault course, quad biking and MORE in the space of 1 week?! � The best money we've ever spent�. Already perusing the brochure for another PGL adventure next year! �

My daughters (7 and 9) came here on a brownie pack holiday weekend. They had a fabulous time and would love to go back

I was there in the summer of 1995 and i had the time of my life. I remember the long walks to the mountain nearby, the pond right in front of the house and generally the beautiful scenery. Great place and i look forward to visiting when my daughter is old enough to bring her over.

I lived here in my childhood end of the 50s early 60s My mother Was the manageress of the house, my father Used to guide the Pony Treckers over the mountains. Came back a few years ago to look round the the house with my mom and wife, it borough a lot of good Memories But how the place has changed Not for the better I might that Lovely staircase Being ruined by white paint Still I suppose that is progress We used to have students come From one of the universities Fond memories. The back stairs my sister and I use to ride down on Metal tee trays.haha what fun

Had an amazing time with groupie Emma everyone was lovely and friendly :)

Had an AWESOME time pony trekking!!

Everyone were amazing every staff were unique and supportive and funny. Smithy made me laugh! And Ben reminds me of richard ayoade , Harrison was soo supportive on the hike/camp. Not only the location made the experience amazing but the members of staff made it more cool and super fantastic (an unforgettable moment). And the staff made me felt as if I was home ;) I was sooo welcomed. Also, I really enjoyed the camp fire it was amazing ;) and thank you to every staff at PGL :) couldn't do this challenge without your support. I will never forget the happy memories with u guys :). Hoil from me :)

Brecon District Cubs had an absolutely fantastic weekend yet again. Well done to all the staff for making the trip so memorable

Both of my children had a great time last year... Daughter went trekking. And son did multi. Bethan is coming back next year :) While Dylan is going to Boreaton. :)
