This article features Dr Carol Samuel who’s teaching the Nerve Reflexology Pain Management course I’m attending this September. I’m looking forward to learning more on how to help with chronic pain - there are so many people living with this debilitating illness where the ladder of prescribed pain killers lead to addiction, often only skimming the surface of the pain. There has to be a different approach where people are treated as a whole not focussing solely on symptomatic treatment. Of course pain killers are a necessity for some people, but to have access to Reflexology, Counselling, or Acupuncture, as a starting point or alongside would surely be a better solution to targeting the cause.
