This is such a great shop with super-helpful staff. On a visit to Cardiff I left my phone charger behind. My phone has an unusual charger socket, and it is difficult to get a spare charger. Phone Mania saved the day by supplying a charger that I could plug the battery into direct! So reasonably-priced and handy. Some time later, the charger plug snapped in the phone socket, so with this battery charger I can carry on using the phone, and don't have to buy a whole new one!"

The staff are really friendly and helpful. Went today as my son's phone was wet and he put it in rice. The rice ended up inside phone and would not charge. The member of staff managed to get the rice out and fix phone. I have taken other phones to this shop and have always had excellent service. Make this the first shop you go to, because I do .

The best phone repair shop in Cardiff! I had a broken power button so I had no use of my phone at all. They repaired it right on the spot in less than 10 minutes and even said there was no charge because it was so quick and easy to fix. I gave them a fiver for being so brilliant and promised I would give them a good review. Really helpful that they are open quite late so I could go after work in the evening. Very nice and friendly staff, I will definitely go here again if I have any more phone problems.

I've taken over 20 company phones here and each one has been returned in perfect working condition and very quickly. They've fixed many different types of problems, not just broken screens, and the customer service is outstanding. Highly recommend.

I went to fix the broken screen of my phone and I requested if I can get it on the same day. The staff was very friendly and they gave my phone just within an hour till I finished my shopping. It was absolutely hassle free and not too expensive.

Bought a iphone 5c off someone about two weeks ago and when i tried to activate it the phone wouldnt have none of it. Ended up in constant recovery mode � took it in to Apple and was told the phone was broken and nothing they could do about it as it was a software issue causing the activation process to fail. Just before i got to the point of throwing it away i decided to try Phone Mania. Im so glad i did because they sent it off to their lab and it came back WORKING and activated. My daughter is over the moon. Thank you ��

What a joke of a company!! Had my handset for well over a week. No contact from them keeping me updated as to what was happening. When I called them, all I was told that it was in the lab? (After the experience I've had, this is probably some garden shed at the bottom of some garden) I decided to pick my phone up and take it else where. You think that's the end...ohhhh no. Thought I'd check my phone out, see what's been tampered with. Only to find several screws missing that holds the tear casing in place. Phoned some plonker this morning, his reaction, "what do you want me to do about it" brilliant customer service.

So, DONT BOTHER, GO ELSEWHERE!!

Very unhappy at the moment with Phone Mania's service. My daughter paid £45 last week to have her iPhone 5 screen repaired, including a £5 screen protector. Within 4 days, the screen fractured again. She took it back Saturday and was led to believe that the repair would be free - within warranty - which is exactly what I would expect. When she went to collect it, they charged her £40 and refused to accept that they had said it would repaired under warranty claiming it must have been damaged, which my daughter says could not have happened as she keeps it in a case and she bought a screen protector. As a student, in her first week in Cardiff, I think this is a pretty poor service. When I phoned to follow up - I was told there was nothing they could do, but to speak to the manager, which I will do later today. In the meantime, am posting this to warn people to consider carefully before taking their phone into this shop. Will be happy to post appropriately if this complaint is addressed satisfactorily.

Payed 70 for my phone screen to be fixed and a glass screen protector, the home bottom on my phone was wobbly when I had the phone returned to me and I asked them to fix it and when they handed it back it was exactly the same, the screen smashed 3 days later from a little drop, they refused to do anything to my phone the ginger lady in the shop was very rude and had a lot of attitude and raised her voice to me which made me feel very uncomfortable so I left the shop, wouldn't recommend going to this shop as they use very cheap products , customer service is terrible and it's a complete waste of money

I took my iPhone 6 into be straightened and screen replaced, cost seemed reasonable (£55), picked up phone same day and walked away thinking how great they were, roll on 15 hours and a hairline crack has appeared on the screen along the line where it was straightened, took it back and immediately sensed they were looking to not honour the warranty and was absolutely right! Kept my cool at first but The only option they had was to pay more money for another screen...not their problem. Warranty worthless, no consumer rights and rude which got my back up so gave them a verbal both barrels. Looking at these reviews and those on google it doesn't look like I'm on my own either with similar stories of cracking screens and poor service.

I payed £65 for my daughters screen to fixed the man in the shop told me that there 3 month warranty would cover the screen so if it broke they would fix it again, that's the whole reason why I went to this shop. My daughters screen broke a few weeks later the first time she dropped it. when I returned to the shop they told me they wouldn't do it unless I payed £65 again, terrible customer service they were very rude, wasn't interested in anything I had to say. Wouldn't advise anyone to go to this shop, you can get screens fixed much cheaper else where and it won't be a cheap screen that breaks easily.

My 12 year old daughter paid £70 of her birthday money as the Network IC Chip had failed in her iPhone 6. Initially the service was great until the phone went to the lab to have the chip replaced. The chip failed after 3 weeks and I was unable to return the phone until early October. I replaced the screen a couple of days before returning to store (3 weeks after the chip failed after replacement). They have now cited that I have damaged the chip when I replaced the screen even though this was 3 weeks AFTER I had advised them of the issue. They have refused to do any work under their warranty so I am going down the Consumer Rights Act 2015 where it is down to the retailer to prove I caused the damage. I have now had the phone inspected by another company and they have confirmed that the chip was never replaced but just reseated, this chip was damaged and they have also caused damaged to the antennae. It is bad enough that my daughter cannot currently use her phone but this company have rinsed her of her Birthday money !!!

Complaint is ongoing with Trading Standards and I will allow aporaoch OFT as this business has not even carried out the work that my daughter was charged for !!!?

Still had a phone issue phone kept Switching on and of mmm � so was sent to lab!



Now one happy phone user the phone looks to be fault FREE a great service from you guys can't thank you enough highly recommend.

Bought a iphone 5c off someone about two weeks ago and when i tried to activate it the phone wouldnt have none of it. Ended up in constant recovery mode � took it in to Apple and was told the phone was broken and nothing they could do about it as it was a software issue causing the activation process to fail. Just before i got to the point of throwing it away i decided to try Phone Mania. Im so glad i did because they sent it off to their lab and it came back WORKING and activated. My daughter is over the moon. Thank you ��

What a joke of a company!! Had my handset for well over a week. No contact from them keeping me updated as to what was happening. When I called them, all I was told that it was in the lab? (After the experience I've had, this is probably some garden shed at the bottom of some garden) I decided to pick my phone up and take it else where. You think that's the end...ohhhh no. Thought I'd check my phone out, see what's been tampered with. Only to find several screws missing that holds the tear casing in place. Phoned some plonker this morning, his reaction, "what do you want me to do about it" brilliant customer service.

So, DONT BOTHER, GO ELSEWHERE!!

Very unhappy at the moment with Phone Mania's service. My daughter paid £45 last week to have her iPhone 5 screen repaired, including a £5 screen protector. Within 4 days, the screen fractured again. She took it back Saturday and was led to believe that the repair would be free - within warranty - which is exactly what I would expect. When she went to collect it, they charged her £40 and refused to accept that they had said it would repaired under warranty claiming it must have been damaged, which my daughter says could not have happened as she keeps it in a case and she bought a screen protector. As a student, in her first week in Cardiff, I think this is a pretty poor service. When I phoned to follow up - I was told there was nothing they could do, but to speak to the manager, which I will do later today. In the meantime, am posting this to warn people to consider carefully before taking their phone into this shop. Will be happy to post appropriately if this complaint is addressed satisfactorily.

Payed 70 for my phone screen to be fixed and a glass screen protector, the home bottom on my phone was wobbly when I had the phone returned to me and I asked them to fix it and when they handed it back it was exactly the same, the screen smashed 3 days later from a little drop, they refused to do anything to my phone the ginger lady in the shop was very rude and had a lot of attitude and raised her voice to me which made me feel very uncomfortable so I left the shop, wouldn't recommend going to this shop as they use very cheap products , customer service is terrible and it's a complete waste of money

I took my iPhone 6 into be straightened and screen replaced, cost seemed reasonable (£55), picked up phone same day and walked away thinking how great they were, roll on 15 hours and a hairline crack has appeared on the screen along the line where it was straightened, took it back and immediately sensed they were looking to not honour the warranty and was absolutely right! Kept my cool at first but The only option they had was to pay more money for another screen...not their problem. Warranty worthless, no consumer rights and rude which got my back up so gave them a verbal both barrels. Looking at these reviews and those on google it doesn't look like I'm on my own either with similar stories of cracking screens and poor service.

I payed £65 for my daughters screen to fixed the man in the shop told me that there 3 month warranty would cover the screen so if it broke they would fix it again, that's the whole reason why I went to this shop. My daughters screen broke a few weeks later the first time she dropped it. when I returned to the shop they told me they wouldn't do it unless I payed £65 again, terrible customer service they were very rude, wasn't interested in anything I had to say. Wouldn't advise anyone to go to this shop, you can get screens fixed much cheaper else where and it won't be a cheap screen that breaks easily.

My 12 year old daughter paid £70 of her birthday money as the Network IC Chip had failed in her iPhone 6. Initially the service was great until the phone went to the lab to have the chip replaced. The chip failed after 3 weeks and I was unable to return the phone until early October. I replaced the screen a couple of days before returning to store (3 weeks after the chip failed after replacement). They have now cited that I have damaged the chip when I replaced the screen even though this was 3 weeks AFTER I had advised them of the issue. They have refused to do any work under their warranty so I am going down the Consumer Rights Act 2015 where it is down to the retailer to prove I caused the damage. I have now had the phone inspected by another company and they have confirmed that the chip was never replaced but just reseated, this chip was damaged and they have also caused damaged to the antennae. It is bad enough that my daughter cannot currently use her phone but this company have rinsed her of her Birthday money !!!

Complaint is ongoing with Trading Standards and I will allow aporaoch OFT as this business has not even carried out the work that my daughter was charged for !!!?
