Loved our experience at pickie park last weekend. Friendly helpful staff. Clean and tidy park. Amazing breakfast in pickie cafe. �

Love it here. Such a fab place for children. The splash pod is fab my little boy loves it. Only downside of the park is queuing for 20 mins for tickets and then another 20 mins for the swans. If we had realised u had to que again for the swans we wudnt have bothered.

Had a great time here with my family yesterday. It was raining when we arrived but we were glad we waited in the car, because once the rain dyed down it ended up a beautiful day! The staff were very friendly in the cafe & at the train, swans & mini golf. We had a brilliant day & will definitely be back.. probably try and go during the weekend when everything is on! � beautiful place!

Had a fantastic day yesterday with my 2 boys and my mum and dad. All the staff were fantastic and helpful and my only criticism is of the changing facilities. There needs to be a proper queuing system put in place as I stood each time easily 25 mins while people just pushed straight in front of me and others who had been waiting. Also lock didnt work on door and at least 5 people opened door while I was changing my sons. It was an extremely busy day and the staff although under extreme pressure remained friendly and helpful. So all in all many thanks for a memorable day . Keep up the good work 😉

Absolutely brilliant my 5 year old son just loved every minute of it. Definitely be back!!

A brilliant place to go with young children

I took my 7yearold grandson and he had a great time. BUT. The seagulls swooping around the outside of the cafe was very annoying. The tables were not cleaned after customers left and we were in and around the area for well over 45mins and still were not cleaned so seagulls were causing havoc kids were frightened. No wonder people were not sitting outside. Think this could be quite a problem. Put us off going for food.

I love this place great for the kids, however the cafe did disappoint, £26.00 for two adult meals and two kids meals, the chips were over cooked as were the burgers and as for the baps they were hard, safe to say i will not be eating in there again, very over priced for the poor quality food.

Eaten here good amount of times but today noticed the quality of food not as good as has been....and for whoever decided to change from a static menu board to a digital display needs there head looked at...felt rushed to order and only bout 5 seconds per screen with 3 of them constantly changing, advertising god k ows what as coykdnt read, having 2 boys with sensory issues along with myself didn't really make it an enjoyable ordering experience.

Visited yesterday morning and really disappointed, hottest day of the year and splash pads not working. The changing rooms were an absolute disgrace. There were used wipes and rubbish all over them. We were some of the first people in when it opened so it was pretty obvious it was from the day before we stayed for about 2hours and no sign of anyone cleaning them. Despite sign outside park saying no dogs people just walking around the park with huge dogs, not safe for little ones.

Terrible day at pickie ... the park was completely understaffed including the cafe which actually stopped serving food at one point because they couldn’t deal with a busy day ��

Need to do something about the customer service in the shop. There were easily 5 or 6 girls behind the counter. It wasn't a busy day when we went in for cold drinks to take out only and it took over 10 minutes to get from the queue at the fridge to the till. Only 1 till in the cafe area it doesn't work. Customers eating in and customers taking away have to wait far too long, especially when you're standing with kids. I picked up drinks and asked could we pay for them and leave, to be told no you have to stand behind everyone else ordering chips before I could pay for our drinks.

I like pickie and it's a great spot for the kids. But ordered some hot drinks and food this morning. Food never arrived nearly 30 mins after finishing our hot drinks.



When I asked whether it had been forgotten I was told it was nearly ready. Shouldn't take half hour to cook a sausage and egg roll.



Poor experience and the cafe wasn't busy

First time been here in a few years & must say has seriously went to the dogs, was a sunny day yesterday when I went so obviously a little busy, the place had rubbish lying about & when went into cafe for something to eat they were sold out of most things. Staff have no time for anyone safe to say I will never be back with my kids again, reading other reviews personally believe the management team need sacked & new managers installed that are capable of actually doing the job.

Very disappointed, says it is open till 9pm, we arrived around 6pm and the while place was deserted, most of the attractions were closed, as was the cafe, chippy and candy floss stall. Had a drink while we decided what to do next and then left!!

Not one for complaining as I've been loads of times to pickie and had an excellent day out with no issues but today was far from excellent.



1. Bins overflowing.

2. Rubbish all over the splash park.

3. People walking about smoking around kids.

4. Dogs running about not on a lead.

5. A child with a dog in the splash park.

6. Kids allowed on the bouncy castle that were soaking making it really slippy.



Very poor standards today it wouldn't take a member of staff long to change a bin bag which would have prevented the top 2 issues.

It states on a sign on the front gate no smoking and dogs on leads at all times yet nothing was done today about these rules being broken.

Personally don't think it's hygienic someone having their dog in the splash area.

Also I don't think your staff member should have allowed the 3 children on the bouncy castle today which were soaking as this could have created a serious safety issue.

Mail sent to staff but no response. Wouldn't even give it a one star.
