went here today for sunday lunch... they fitted us in last minute after an appalling service at high corner in llanharan where we walked out without eating... im glad we did because the food was lovely and full of flavour here.. the staff were polite, friendly and couldnt do enough... That is how a restaurant should be... we will definately be back... xxxx

What a place and what lovely people, very friendly and welcoming. Went there this evening as a family and none of us could finish our meals (and I can eat!). Can't fault the service it was top notch. Also, in conversation I mentioned that it was my birthday and when paying for the bill I recieved a complimentary cheese cake!! Which was deeeelish!! Me and the mrs plan to go back one weekend for cocktails and beer pitchers and some chicken wings. Love it here, even love the decor!

Went for lunch earlier with a baby and toddler in tow I must say it was brilliant, staff were friendly and very attentive, food was fab! nice and fresh and very reasonably priced, my toddler isn't the quietest but they didn't bat an eyelid very family friendly! Will definitely be visiting again thank you very much �� xxx

Well what can I say.. this Sunday I had the most delicious dinner.. quality /quantity & excellent value..

After having an awful mother’s day meal experience at another bridgend establishment I was pleasantly surprised at what a wonderful meal.. the cauliflower cheese is absolutely delicious.. everything was just perfect..

No running out of veg.. meat cut with a razor blade & rude front of house..

really look forward to the next meal.. thank you Jen & all..

Really enjoyed our Sunday lunch...quick service, relaxed and friendly atmosphere and the food was delicious. Definitely be going back to.try out the rest of the menu. Couldn't fault it.

Massive improvement since I was here last August, steak was perfectly cooked (medium rare ribeye) and was served with what can only be described as a whole bag of curly fries! Food was brilliant, atmosphere was brilliant and the service was spot on - definitely be back again soon!

Just got home from an amazing night.

Food was delicious as always even though over indulged�

Had to bring home a dessert as the cheesecake looked Devine �

In Wales for the Monster Jam and stayed at Court Colman Manor. Found this lovely gem only 7 minutes away from the hotel. Lovely food and generous portions. Super friendly staff that know how to treat their customers of all ages. We totally enjoyed ourselves and would recommend anyone over this way visits this establishment. Thank you to the staff for a warm welcome throughout our visit.

I've been here a few times because I like to eat big portions and this time didn't disappoint! Booked a table of 13 for my birthday and everyone was happy. Great food, staff were friendly and helpful. Even had a free tray of shots at the end. Thanks guys!�

Had bbq pulled pork burger and curly fries. It was by far the nicest burger I've had and huge portions. Excellent service and friendly staff. Will definitely be returning and already know what I'm going to order x

Good food, good prices but poor service, we visited about a month ago and we waited ages to be served and with the bill there was no one around we could have easily walked out! We had to go up to the bar to pay

This is a really nice diner, atmosphere&music wise. I loved the setting and music. Sadly the food was not so great. I ordered lamb steak, baked potato, mushrooms and salad with blue cheese sauce- The lamb was tiny, burnt, and served in pieces. The baked potato was dry, as if it had gone cold and then heated up again. The sauce came out 15 minutes after my meal was served to me and asking where it was. My husband couldn't eat the burger he ordered because the cheese sauce didn't taste right. The cheesecake I ordered was so stale, that it had dried out and cracked- When I tasted it, it had the stale/chewy taste, as if it had been out for a day or two. I ended up wasting this and not eating it. The Tia-Maria chocolate milkshake- I didn't taste any Tia-Maria.



I have given this a three, because the children's meals were good and they really enjoyed themselves, we were also able to enjoy ourselves with family. The young girl who was also left to fend for herself and serve an entire diner, did really really well! She was a bit curt, but I'm not surprised with the amount of serving she had to do alone.



I can see everyone else who has commented have had no problems, so I don't know if this was just a one off, bad experience.

Even though the the food arrived quickly and the poitions were big, the service on the other hand was poor. The food we ordered was wrong and when we mentioned it to the girl who served us, she just laughed it off with a half-apology, with no offer to correct her mistake. Overall not a great experience.
