Had a fabulous evening for my wife's 60th birthday, from start to finish the service was excellent, the food was second to none, overall a faultless experience, thank you 😊

I didn't stay at the hotel, only visited the restaurant. It starts with them serving you a drink and you can choose to sit either inside or outside. If the weather allows, sit outside as the views of their garden are stunning. Then you choose your dishes and they lead you inside to your table. Everything was very fresh and very tasty. The wine selection is also very good. I had the lamb, but my partner had the fish with risotto, which I tried and highly recommend.

Excellent food, service and a very friendly atmosphere. Have been to this restaurant several times in the past and the standard has always been consistently high. Highly recommended.

The whole experience (including friendly cat) was a delight

Food was an excellent quality. Maybe slightly let down by mains but the rest was super, and certainly for the price was excellent value (£42 for 4 courses). Wine list was super and of course the building, ambience and gardens are a delight to be in. Roaringly busy (got the last table with 2 weeks notice).
