Plas Glyn Y Weddw Gallery

Nice art gallery, shop and cafe based in a stunning large house with great views from the adjoining grounds. Parking is cheap (first half hour is free then £1 per hour thereafter). I could be wrong, but the art seemed to be almost exclusively from local Welsh artists with lots of depictions of local coastline and landscapes.

Really lovely venue with interesting exhibitions and walks. The staff and volunteers are very pleasant and helpful. The cafe is nice with good soups salads and sandwiches. The cake looked nice too. Our party had chicken caesar salads, homemade soups and a prawn and avocado salad and everything was excellent. It's much better value than the beach side cafe and nicer too. I wish they had somewhere to sit inside with well behaved dogs but understand that some people don't like that.

Ate at the cafe, full Welsh breakfast very good, children's fry up pricey for 1 sausage, bacon & beans. Chef not overly sympathetic towards peanut allergy suffer. This said beautiful views & waiter (young lad) extremely helpful & polite.

What a find. Walked past it going to the beach without even realising it was there. Gothic yes but also filled with light perfect for displaying the great art exhibition within. Super views over the bay and a nice cafe to boot.
