lovely B&B, the room and facilities couldn't be better. Jan & Julie were the best hosts ever! Lovely fresh breakfasts, and top tips on local places to visit during the day and evening.
Lovely room and a warm friendly service, unfortunately some inconsiderate fellow guests spoilt our first night a little but our second night was great. Brilliant breakfast.
Stayed in this B&B over the Easter Weekend and I have to say we were more than happy. It is a beautiful place and has recently been refurbished by the new owners in keeping with it's Georgian roots. Our bedroom (The kingsize) was perfectly decorated and so very, very clean in both the bedroom and the bathroom. There were little things that made it feel so welcoming. Fresh milk in your own fridge (room for a bottle of vino too), soap, shampoo, conditioner and showergel. Plenty of hanging space (a huge wardrobe) and lots of hooks. There never seems to be enough in some places. The owners were very friendly and put on a great breakfast. Homemade yoghurt and jams and, if you wanted it, the full works. All beautifully done with silver teapots and lovely old style crockery not your bog standard stuff. Would really recommend this place to anyone wanting to chill or venture onto the hills, you'll get a great nights sleep either way as it is so peaceful and quiet and the mattress we had I am sure the princess would never have noticed if she'd had a pea underneath it!
