It’s been our absolute pleasure to welcome Tim Hollingsworth OBE, Chief Executive of Sport England to Plas y Brenin, along with Director of Capital Investment Kevin Mills and Leisure Operations and Facilities Lead Steve Welch.
Over the course of their visit, the team enjoyed a full site tour, along with a demonstration of our newly refurbished climbing wall.
They also observed part of a working session between Dan Cook, Mountain Bike Leadership Manager at British Cycling, and members of the Plas y Brenin Instructional team on the development of a new pathway for Mountain Bike Leaders to access the Mountain Bike Coaching pathway, showcasing our role in supporting National Governing Bodies for sport, and in turn helping develop the outdoor sector.
