Went on the weekend mountain navigation skills course. Learnt a lot- definitely recommend. The night navigation was the highlight for me. Accommodation was reasonable. Food was great. Will definitely visit again.

Great location, staff very friendly, rooms are basic but nice (twin room). Had dinner one night in the bar but would recommend going out for dinner as meals very basic

I have only visited the centre very briefly, mainly for information, and found it welcoming and the staff helpful.
However, I was utterly disappointed to be told that our dog was not welcome "in the bar area, and actually nowhere inside the centre". Shame, we'd have loved to stay for lunch.

EDIT: having now spent 5 days at the centre for a kayaking course, I can confirm that the instructor was brilliant and very knowledgeable - will be keeping an eye out for a change in policy regarding dogs: I'd love to come back with my family when dogs are allowed!

An unbelievable first experience. I couldn't recommend it enough. The professionalism and care from the staff was only surpassed by the amazing coaching and instruction. I was genuinely impressed, accommodation felt more like a hotel and the food was incredible. I will definitely go back. Thank you guys!

I stayed there for a week on the summer adventure course and it was THE BEST week of my life. At the end i started crying because i didnt want to leave😂😂. I will 100% go next year because the activities were AMAZING, the leaders were soo informative and the food was fantastic.

We stopped here to get a view of Llynnau Mymbyr, the lake. There's a path leading down to the lake along the Centre. Beautiful photospot

Go. This is a brilliant training centre with awesome staff and instructors. The view from the bar is great, and the food is excellent.
