Really cosy, clean and friendly atmosphere, AMAZING food, local produce cooked to perfection and inexpensive. Staff cheerful and nothing too much trouble. Dogs welcome, plenty of room. Cannot recommend highly enough for anyone staying locally. I wish I could move this pub to my village!!!
Good selection of drinks. Real ales in great condition. Lovely food served from 6pm weekdays.
On a day out in Betws y coed and decided to stop here for a Sunday lunch. Opted for the roast lamb, the food was tasty and served quickly. Could have been hotter but wasn't stone cold so I didn't mind. The waitress was friendly and it was good value for money. We will return again.
The host lady was very pleasant at check-in. She also serves the breakfast and the food and service were top notch.

Very enjoyable experience. Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice clean room with lovely views. Great breakfast. All round very good value. The nearest premier Inn was double the price and I imagine half the charm.
We believe she was the head waitress or manager, but the lady that greeted us was very lovely and got us a table for 2 no problem, the bar and other staff were friendly. We had 2 medium rare rump steaks, they were cooked to perfection
Friendly staff. Had eve meal which was superb. Good cooked Breakfast which was waitress serviced. Digs allowed to stay. Really popular so bar was busy. Basic rooms which could do with updating. Definatley would stay again
Spent a night here just as a place to get our head down in between some local walking/trekking. The location is ideally situated in the middle of Betws and there are many many fantastic local walks plus a Sherpa bus transport link to Pen-y-pass. The hotel is a lovely stone/slate building, typical of the area. It has a nice little bar, pool table and darts board for the evening. Room was fine, what you would expect for the price. Breakfast was great, plenty of food to set you up for a day of walking.
Nice little pub with fairly good food. Bar staff were really friendly and helped us plan what else to do on our vacation in the area.
