Pontardawe Air Cadets 1358 Squadron Description

Young people between the ages of 13 - 20 can enjoy activities ranging from adventure training, powered flying and gliding, Duke of Edinburgh Award, shooting, annual camps at RAF Stations, overseas visits, leadership training, BTEC qualifications and much much more . . .

Uniform and most required equipment is provided free and on a loan basis.

We meet every Monday and Friday evening between 6. 45 and 9. 30pm and some weekends.

We also have vacancies committed volunteers to become Adult Staff or become members of the civilian committee, starting at Civilian Instructor level (CI) and possibly progressing on into uniform.

Experience and qualifications in the above activities are an advantage, but full training can be given in your chosen activity specialisations. You do not have to be Ex-Services to join as Staff.

The Air Training Corps (ATC) is a Youth Organisation sponsored and governed by the Royal Air Force.
