A small but growing heritage line which has a bride over the main line in the the siding so it is possible to have a steam locomotive passing over a steam halled pasinger train

Pleasant small railway with basic but well kept facilities. I look forward to them extending their line and offering an area in which to examine rolling stock not used in the days running.

Cool trains. Freindly staff. Bit pricey for the short routes. Majority of journey is spent stopped at stations.

Lovely place for a train ride and visit big pit.

The railway children musical was performed there, the show was very interactive for the children, the kids really enjoyed the steam train ride worth the money!

Only a small heritage line but still worth a visit, nice tea room with very good prices. You can also travel to Big Pit mining museum by Steam train at weekends for £2.50 return, parking is free (pay & display at Big Pit)
