Pontypridd Town Council Christmas Card Competition!
Pontypridd Town Council is once again holding its Children’s Christmas Card Competition and would like to invite entries from children up to the age of eleven who live or attend school in the Pontypridd Town Council area.
The competition is to design a Christmas card (cover only) and entries will be accepted in any medium. The card should measure 15¼cm x 21cm (6” x 8”) (A5). Entries must have the full name, age and school or... organisation of the child on the back.
The competition will be judged in three age groups 3-6 years, 7-9 years and 10-11 years. The winners in each age group will also receive a framed card and receive a prize of £25.
They will also be invited to switch on the Christmas lights at the ceremony to be held on Saturday 16th November 2019.
Entries should be brought into the Pontypridd Museum, Bridge Street, Pontypridd, by Thursday 7th November 2019.
All cards will then be on display in the Museum on the run up to Christmas and a large number of the cards will be laminated and hung on the Christmas trees in Pontypridd.
