Port Talbot Coastguard

Port Talbot Coastguard was paged this afternoon to the report of a Injured female on Aberavon Beach, Port Talbot.
It was found she had fallen approximately 20ft down rocks sustaining head and chest injuries aswell as cuts to her arms.
Coastguard Rescue Officers working alongside RNLI Lifeguards treated and stabilised the casualty whilst waiting for an Ambulance and Rescue 187 to arrive on scene.
... Once assessed by Paramedics, the casualty was evacuated off the rocks and transported via road Ambulance to Hospital.
Our colleagues from Porthcawl Coastguard were also tasked to assist with this incident.
