Good location for city centre and train station, clean and comfortable rooms, very quiet and peaceful, friendly and helpful staff

Stayed here to go to the Anthony Joshua boxing match, this was the last hotel available in Cardiff and one of the last rooms. Very nice inn. One of the main points is that it is very clean. Although they forgot to make the room up 1 out of 3 days. Probably wouldn't stay again as it is a bit far from the centre of the city. When staying here be prepared to spend on taxis. Staff are very friendly.

For the money it was pretty good. The room was spacious, the bed comfortable. Everything was clean. It wasn't highly decorated but as it was just a place to rest your head it was perfect.

Brilliant...was worried it was too far out of town when arriving by train then taxi to hotel. Staff super friendly and nothing was a problem. More tea/ cups/ milk honestly anything was given with a more than happy to help attitude. For a 3 star I thought it was brill. Make up mirror with lights/ a fan on a stand very comfy bed. Great practical decor. Free parking and only £5 in a taxi to town. Ideal as there was no late night noise from clubbers so us oldies had a great peaceful sleep.😉 Highly recommended. Breakfast: next door in pub good variety but chaos. Shortage of everything cups/glasses/ juices/ cutlery better go back to town for breakkie

Great staff... exceptional customer service. You expect a certain standard from Premier Inn but this inn was exceptional across the board. The staff could not do enough to make the stay pleasant and evetything they did was done with a smile. This is PREMIER Premier Inn

Small and friendly Premier Inn. Only a couple of floors. Staff are very nice and room was very clean. Bed was extremely comfortable and shower powerful and hot. Breakfast is in a Brewers Fayre across the way. Very nice setting and plenty to choose from. Only downside was the fried food was a little greasier than I would like but tasty none the less. Plenty of fruit juices and cereals on offer. All in all a very enjoyable, comfortable stay.

Location near expensive looking wharf property but otherwise insalubrious. Clean and very quiet room - no aircon but offers of fans and ice if needed. Staff excellent - friendly, polite and very helpful. The for at breakfast was the same as other Premier Inns, decent enough and plentiful. Good value with kids eating free.

Hotel has a good central location. The rooms have a modern design with large screen TV. The restaurant adjacent to the hotel served great food and drink.

Sadly this was not my favorite stay at a Premier inn, in which i had no sleep for the whole duration i was there, this being mainly due to disrespectful people who just don't know when to be quiet & certainly not down to the staff in any way, who i found to be warm & friendly at all times.

After a tiring journey, I arrived and was checked in by Dan who I had spoken to previously about a top floor room, the room was nice but missing a sofa, it only had a chair, the bed was far too soft for my bad back, the heating kept shutting off in the night making it freezing to get up in the mornings, but the main issue I had was the noise, plus its not a very safe area to go out walking at night as it's situated on an industrial estate.

My first night people decided to have an argument/fight outside my room scaring me to death at almost 1am, as they kept pushing each other on my door, the next morning & most mornings after that, workmen kept talking, laughing, banging their van doors & revving their engines up right outside my window, the windows are certainly not double glazed, I heard everything cursing & all.

Wednesday night the people who checked into the room next to mine was banging internal cupboards & drawers until almost 2am, making me jump as the bed vibrated every time they did it, plus they kept going out their door banging it probably to constantly smoke, I couldn't wait to go home as the talking just didn't shut up, as from 4.30pm until about 11pm people were contstantly checking in for one night only stays & all had to pass my room!

I told Dan of my nightmare when I checked out, he was sympathetic, but told me I should of come to reception or phoned down to change rooms as they are there 24hrs a day and are there to help, he did tell me this upon check in, but I didn't want to be a pain after he put me where I requested, but in the end I was the loser, as even without noise I would never of slept in such a soft bed, so next time I must learn to open my mouth & complain, but that's just not me!
