The room was clean and a good size however our stay was let down by a member of the door staff. Jonny was rude and aggressive towards me and my partner along with other guests. We are astonished that a company as large as Premier Inn would employ someone so incompetent. He upset a number of guests during the evening while we were observong him and I strongly believe that you can give a far greater service without him. I have never ever been spoken to with such disrespect and aggression. I hope head office read these comments and act upon them before he causes harm to a guest or another member of staff.

Handy location. 5 minute walk to the main shopping area. Loads of places to eat and drink right next to hotel.

Clean and tidy. Polite staff. Good selection for Breakfast if you purchase the Full Breakfast so you can select things from the Continental Breakfast aswell. Hotel is on Wind Street which does get very busy at the weekend, but doesnt affect the hotel noise wise. Would stay here again no problem.

If you like listening to loads of drunk people arguing at 3:00 AM just outside your window, then this is the perfect location for you. You will not be disappointed. Also, as a bonus you can listen to the traffic. Double pane windows are in the rooms, but still heard all the commotion quite well.

I had specifically requested a quiet room when booking months in advance, and additionally asked again upon checkin. The young, blonde female front desk clerk, could not have cared any less and was quite rude in telling me that she had no intention of accommodating that request as they were fully booked.

Lighting in the room is very dark and depressing. On a positive note the heating worked.

All you can ask from a budget hotel. Would have been 5 stars but not quite as cheap as I would expect.

Surprisingly quiet hotel, considering the bedrooms are over Wind Street one of the busiest nightclub areas in the UK! Friendly, helpful staff and lovely clean bedrooms as is usual for a Premier Inn. Will definitely stay again.

Location, cleanliness and price can't be faulted. My only minor quibbles ate that the soundproofing could be improved (Wind Street has a *lot* of noisy drunks carousing), and that the electrical outlets are very inconveniently located making it impossible to leave your phone charging by the bedside. Unless you have enough kids to make it worthwhile using the "children eat free" offer, don't pay the additional £9 a night for breakfast; there's a huge Wetherspoons two minutes walk away which does enormous breakfasts at less than half the price.
