Prince Charles Hospital

Had teeth extracted 2 weeks ago the dentist and nursing staff were really nice and put you at ease. I Also was given instructions for after care.

A division of the Cwm Taf Health Authority Prince Charles hospital is a horrific den of corruption. I'm not going to post any further on here for they are subject to investigation, save to say if you dare complain don't expect to get treatment from then for many years to come.

My Mother recently had a hip operation here and received superb treatment from all nursing staff on ward 3. The operation went really well Mr Karras is a top surgeon and I have great respect for him and the quality of his work. This review would have had a 5 star if the transition from ward to the home had gone as well as the hospital stay experience. My mother arrive home traumatised after waiting in the departure lounge for three hours with no water during the heatwave we had in June. Eventually the ambulance team turned up but half way home they had to turn around because a patients bag had been left behind. All in all it took almost 4 hours to get out of the hospital. You'd fly to Spain and back quicker! Unfortunately the management and administration of the hospital lets it down. #hugemanagementshakeupneeded

Had to call ambulance last Saturday night lay on the floor in agony for three hours waiting, wonderful paramedics got me to casualty, nurses were horrible and not once asked me how I was in fact overheard one asking a nursing assistant ANY BEDS YET! WHAT ARE WE SUPPOSED TO DO WITH THEM,,TUCK THEM IN AND BABY SIT ALL NIGHT, waited again until 3 30 to be taken to ward 4,how glad was I to leave that lot.it was heaven with nurses who cared for me, please remember I had a fractured shoulder plus dislocated shoulder and ball that was under my front ribs,one kind word from them would have gone a long way while I cried alone for hours in tremendous pain, not the dr's fault my god things have changed since I worked by night on those wards.hope I never need to go there again

Just finished a 2 day stay with the Prince Charles Hospital, after being scooped of the hillside at Bike Park Wales. Broken ribs and punctured lung.
All very good, friendly, helpful. Thank you for your warmth and help.

Currently sat here on ward 21 with my partner who was induced almost 36 hours ago. Been sat waiting all day to go to labour ward to have her waters broke but got put off several times due to labour ward being full up with twins and emergencies. Yet their still inducing women and sending them to labour ward. What an absolute joke of a hospital. FUMING is an understatement right now. The hospital needs to sort itself out an sharpish

Can't believe how different my 100 year old great aunty looked today after being taken to prince Charles hospital last night I not sure what ward she was on or the nurses names but they have done an excellent job so far and the nurses where great really friendly and helpful thanks for doing a great job.
