Priory Plaice (Permanently Closed)

The worse food I've ever eaten I've been here before and the standards have been excellent but my most resent visit has determined I will never eat here again even my child could not eat hers the chips were soft and off obviously by the sweet rotting taste they had and the sausages where so old I could have smashed my windscreen with it... Would have complained but the customer service this time was appalling I'm truly gutted really thought we had found a good chippy

Rarely have a take away, but called here as I was passing one day and ordered a pensioners portion of fish and chips, which is good for smaller appetites, but WHAT a portion. Freshly cooked fish [not small] and freshly cooked chips and an added bonus of mushy peas. And all for under £4. Nicely presented in a cardboard [insulated] box which kept the food hot until I got home and the food was delicious. Yes you have to wait for your food to be cooked but it's worth it. Most importantly the staff and place looked clean. Well done 5* ++ yes.
