We’re genuinely delighted at the momentum growing around reducing the use of plastics in our industry. It’s something we’ve passionately believed in here at Providero ever since we started trading from our little old van 6 years ago! Did you know: #1: Not only do NONE of our takeaway coffee cups (or lids!) contain plastic, they are fully compostable, made only from paper and corn starch. Always have been, always will be. This means if any unintentionally find their way into o...ur beautiful welsh fields, rivers or seas, they won’t cause any harm whilst they degrade; in fact they’ll contribute to the bio-matter in the soil! #2: If you request a straw, it will be biodegradable, again made from corn-starch. #3: We sell NO soft drinks in plastic bottles; just easily-recycled glass, aluminium or paper cartons. We don’t sell bottled water for the same reason, but you can refill your bottles with our good old tap water as often as you need ! #4: We always give a discount if you bring your own re-usable cup! More Providero reusable cups for you to purchase will be on our shelves soon. #5: All our takeaway food boxes, cutlery, napkins and stirrers are 100% biodegradable and compostable. #6: We’re constantly working to reduce our general waste, including plastics, across both our cafes. We recycle our coffee grounds to local gardeners, we recycle as much packaging and waste as we can, and we use local suppliers wherever possible for our breads, veggies, fruits and chocolate who deliver to us fresh, with no plastic, and minimal packaging. #7: All the electricity that powers both cafes is ‘Green’; supplied fully from renewable sun and wind 😃 It’s a work in progress, but here at Providero we strive to be as gentle to our planet as we possibly can, with the resources and choices we have. #plasticfree #ecofriendly #planetearth #ilovenorthwales

So today, as well as saying goodbye to 2017, we say a fond farewell to our wonderful Brontë, as she shortly sets off on her travels to New Zealand.
Bronte joined Prov in 2015 as a casual member of staff and proved herself to be an excellent barista. She soon progressed to become an invaluable member of the permanent team.
Her quiet diligence, 100% reliability, steadiness under pressure and ninja organisational skills have been appreciated by the whole team. ... When we were looking for a safe pair of hands to manage #LittleProv so Jon could focus all his efforts on getting Big Prov established, Bronte was top of our list and was the unanimous candidate put forward by the team 😊. Thankfully, she accepted the post!
I’m sure regular customers will agree with us when we say Bronte has done a fantastic job of keeping the Good ship Little Prov in excellent shape over the last 12 months. It was so reassuring for us that we could entrust our precious LittleProv to her, knowing it would be all well taken care of.
We are fortunate to have a great team established now across both cafes and the rest of us will endeavour to carry on all her good work!
As she leaves for a brilliant adventure, we send her all our love and best wishes! We will miss you Bronte but we are deeply grateful for all you’ve sown into Providero. Thankyou Bronte, and safe travels! ❤️

Was passing through and thought I'd have a Mocha for a change (usually I go for an Americano or a Cappucino). Damn, it was the finest Mocha i've ever had - the white chocolate option was really the icing on the cake! Great value too, can't wait until my next stop.

Thank you for the vegan treats.. Apparently hard to come by round here.. Will come straight here when we require a vegan cake from now on.. Awesome choice and very yummy! ����

Really good coffee. I make a point of stopping off whenever I do a long ride in to Wales. Staff are lovely too.

Popped in to the new Llandudno branch for brew after a long wind swept walk on the prom. Staff were just lovely, attentive and knowledgeable, but the star of the show was indeed the coffee. Simply brilliant!



Lovely welcoming atmosphere and great sourbread toast and jam to boot which made the visit even better, and they are dog friendly which was a bonus!



Congratulations on such a great coffee shop. Can't wait to return.

Just a quick message. Pop in earlier and asked for vegan spread didn't have any as ran out.. They nip over to shop and got some..thats service .many thanks.. Providero at it's best as always.. Plus fab brownie was needed I needed a chocolate fix

If you love #littleprov in Llandudno Junction, you will adore #bigprov in Upper Moystyn Street in Llandudno. Jon and Ellie and their close-knit team have created a beautiful aesthetic, restoring high-ceilinged splendidness to a venue perfectly suited for the coffee lovers flocking to their great tastes. Out of season Sunday and there is a real buzz around the place. A sleepy lie in meant we missed the porridge option (pimp it up to your hearts content) ... but the sourdough and homemade jam did the trick perfectly. Oh, and just enough room left for a naughty slice of caramel shortbread. Outstanding coffee, a relaxed vibe ... but a discernible buzz. Love, love, love what this hard-working independent is doing!

Had a meeting here yesterday and the coffee was excellent and very reasonably priced. Thanks guys!

Fresh food served with a twist

Fantastic coffee, excellent friendly service, nothing is too much trouble, 2nd time we have visited here and won't be the last.....Oh & the cakes are delicious too!

Excellent knowledgable barista team, consistently high quality coffee, single bean blend offered, all stages of customer experience delivered. Perfectly fast wifi connectivity! Lady on food preparation was exceptionally professional offering vegan and vegetarian options, ordered platter very reasonable, when veg-platter arrived it was exceptional value for money and tasted deliciously fresh too. I love #littleprov from day one now I love #bigprov even more. Still aesthetics to complete and achieve warmth in decor, but for its first week of opening so remarkable difference internally and I'm excited as a customer to return to this high quality coffee house. A massive well done to the team, look forward to returning a well deserved 5*stars from me :)
