Pub On The Pond

Average pub that could do with a refresh. Food has gotten better. Staff very friendly.

Lifeless pub with an utterly uninspiring range of beer consisting of mass market brands only, both on tap and bottled.

Outdoor terrace looks over the park, crazy golf, playground and boating lake. Restaurant area is often busy on sunny weekends and popular with families.

Easily accessible from the Swansea Bay footpath, it's always a cheap & cheerful place to go. Great during the summer when the boating lake is open and during the winter, for visiting friends of students at the Uni.

We were camping in the nearby Three Cliffs Holiday Park and were passing this pub when a sudden thirst came upon us. We parked and made our way to the bar thinking a nice local beer would go down nicely right about now. No such luck though - this is a Fayre & Square pub, complete with a sticky carpet and looks like it needs a good lick of paint inside and out. The drinks on offer are the usual suspects - bog standard lagers and a token Green King IPA for the men and lots of wines, spirits etc for the ladies.
We didn't try the food as we didn't want to hang around!

Awful food, drinks and demoralised staff. Will not be returning. Very disappointing.

Low price, average quality menu. You get what you pay for. Little to complain about when this is considered. Decent if you're caught on the hop and need something to eat cheap and fast.

Dismal atmosphere. Barely cooked chips. Pints with huge heads. The staff seemed demoralised and run down, I suspect poor management.

Absolutely outstanding! For my brothers birthday at the start of april, we came to the pub on the pond as we use to have all of our family get togethers there, and i can honestly say that it is by far the best place i have visited for food,the food was so lovely, i had a steak and it was juicey, and cooked perfect for my liking, the other 12 members of my family that attended with me, also said the same. i just wish you'd fix the loud door by the grabber games! lol
