Was very pleased to eat here with my 3 year old son after we were ignored at another nearby restaurant and had to leave. The staff were instantly some of the friendliest and most efficient I've ever met, and did a great job of catering for my young son by talking to him and giving him some paper and pencils to play with while we waited. The food when it came was exceptional, cooked perfectly and very very tasty! The price was great too, we both had three courses and a couple of drinks each and the bill came to less than Β£40! Overall a perfect place to have my graduation meal, and I will definitely visit again! Thanks for everything!
Our family have been regular at Pulcinella since they opened almost 20 years ago. Food is excellent and staff always friendly. Love it!
Lovely food and nicely presented, great service with a smile and very reasonably priced. I'd definitely recommend it and go back next time I am this way.
Have always had lovely meals at this restaurant. Never been disappointed. Always a nice welcome from Yasmin and Mario. Amazing value food and drink. And the option of half portions
Had a lovely meal to celebrate my birthday. Food was excellent and Yasmin and the staff looked after us very well. Thank you. We.ll definately be back again!
Came here with friends on a Wednesday night, the whole experience was fantastic, staff very friendly and pleasant, always happy and smiling, the food was absolutely gorgeous and as I am Italian I can say it's authentic , fresh and homemade. I had salmone alla Sorrentina with vegetables and was cooked to perfection and very tasty! The house white wine, Pinot Grigio was very good as well. Reasonably priced and I would recommend this fabulous place to everyone in Bangor! Looking forward to come here again!!
Came a few weeks ago for the first time and I absolutely loved it! The staff were all welcoming and very friendly, and the restaurant itself is situated in a really beautiful part of Bangor, with amazing seafront views. The food was delicious and the staff were very helpful with recommending the best dishes. I look forward to coming here again!
Best seafood Risotto around. An a really nice place with a amazing view over the straits
This is a little GEM! Visited the area for a short break mid week and not much open or family friendly. We came across it and gave it a try. The meal we had; starter, main and Deserts were excellent! Staff were lovely and a calm, relaxing environment. We will be visiting again! in the future.
Lovely weekend with friends finished by a delicious dinner. We found the restaurant by accident but would definetly recommend
Wonderful sunset too Pulcinella - Thankyou
Lovely views of the pier. Service was friendly although not expert.
Food was good enough but more dessert choices would have been better.
It was somewhat chilly in the restaurant too.
Feel like a few tweaks would make this place much more special.
Helpful staff. Starters good but two main courses I tried had a distinct lack of seasoning so were lacking in flavour! Although they were presented well. I had to add table salt which is something I never usually use!
Went with my family for a birthday celebration. Nice location and unlike other reviews I've seen the restaurant was nice and warm on a cold evening. Service was friendly but a bit clunky. They were slow to take our order and when the mains came mine was missing. However after a short wait for mine all 5 of us thought the food was lovely. Prices were reasonable as well. Wouldn't rave about the place but certainly wouldn't warn anyone off it. Worth a look.
Was lookimg forward to going here, was a bit busy but the service was terribly slow. Had to wait over half an hour for our starter, then our chips came without the main,, had to wait then for our main meal, our pizza came and the dough was chewy. Had enough so we waited for around 20 minutes for them to come and collect our plates and asked for the bill and we had to get up and go to the bar to pay as nobody came back to our table. Will not be recommending. Very disappointing.
The starter was lovely the main course when we eventually got it was not good ,i had the sirloin steak which i could not cut even with a steak knife never mind eat it .The service was very bad having to wait 35 minutes between courses .This is most definitely a place i will avoid in future .The place itself was freezing cold .
The food was quite bland , the staff were excellent and the view and atmosphere were pleasing ! However , what we ate was bland and not satisfying - chuck in some garlic and a few herbs !!!!!!!! Otherwise a genuinely lovely place with lovely staff and a great vibe !
The food here was very nice i would like to make that clear!!! But that was the only thing enjoyable about our evening here. We were shown to our table and then was just left there with no menu. After 10 minutes had to ask for the menu (wasn't busy either); after finishing our starter we placed our plates at the end of the table and took over 5 minutes for them to be removed. Our main meal came fairly quickly but we had no cutlery and had to call one of the waitress over and ASK for cutlery while our food went cold. After finishing our meal we were asked if we wanted pudding, we said that we were fine and would like the bill. 15 minutes went by and still no bill. There were only another 3 tables there but still had to ask again for the bill. The waitress seemed annoyed that we had disturbed her from talking about how she reacted when she was bitten by a mosquito (not what i wanted to hear after eating) and yet still took another 10 minutes to get the bill.
Its a shame as this restaurant use to be a nice atmospheric place to dine but now the waitresses seemed only to be there for a pay check and chat to their friends than making paying diners feel welcome!!!! Not once were we asked how our meal was.
Had a lovely meal here a few years ago and were really excited to revisit earlier this week. However it was disappointing. There was no minestrone soup, which we had so looked forward to tasting and something that should be available at all times on an Italian menu. Also the bases of the three pizzas that we had seemed uncooked. The chips appeared to be microwave ones and we were not offered any sauces. It was rather cold there and the place seemed to lack atmosphere. We were very disappointed.
Food was very very basic i had pasta with tomato sauce and something was bland and boring .. one of us had the salmon that was nice wont go there again ina hurry though
