Went down there in the afternoon with two of my best friends, it was our first time in there. Loved every minute of it, great place to hang out, socialise. The bar staff there are friendly, you can chat to them. Cant wait to go down there again Monday. xx 10/10

Myself and 11 friends attended the dream boys at pulse last night and we had a blast!! The best night out in years by far! Staff and security were fab, we laughed and danced all night. Thanks

Me and the girls went there for food before we went to watch a show .. there was 13 of us and we hadn't booked up but we asked if it was possible and straight away David set up a table for us and was really really helpful and friendly all the time we was there! He even had the decency to come and say that he was going off shift and wished us all good evening! The food was also lovely .. no complaints at all!! Will deff go there again xxx AND AGAIN THANK YOU DAVID!!

Great afternoon eve at pulse for a friends 40th food was fantastic value and really good cheap drinks only £1 extra for a double happy few hrs lol but the bar staff need to spend less time talking and more time serving customers other than that fab nite by all

Came here saturday night for my friends hen do! We came all the way from bournmouth and there was 11 of us! It was the best night out ive ever had. Food was good, staff were lovely and welcoming and the dream boys show was amazing start to finish. After the show we went downstairs and was chuffed to bits with the 90s music we all had an amazing time thanks for lookinf after us all pulse! We had a blast xx

Amazing night - great atmosphere show was brill well worth it - all the staff were such good fun including the host. Some good offers on drinks which is always a bonus! Oh and not forgetting the doormen who are wicked!

The atmosphere was amazing, one of the best clubs I've been to! It was definitely worth the journey to Cardiff as the entire evening was fantastic... even if I did end up slightly drunk!

This is my 2nd review as 1st I deleted as thought the situation was goin 2 get sorted as I was lend 2 believe but no so writing another one. Visited here 6weeks ago on my hen do, seen dream boys eat was ok but seating was shit as was at the back and couldn't see with everyone In front of us. Then had some pic's took wat me and my friends paid 4 in Advance and still sat 6weeks later 4 our photos! Nick has said 4 the last 4-5weeks that he is sorting it etc but really not getting anywhere. I was nice enough 2 delete 1st review as thought we had came 2 a understanding on photos plus refund. Told me he had resent AGAIN morning evening but yet again nothing in the post so totally give up. Waste of money and time. DONT BUY PHOTOS

I think in light of the attacks that took place in Orlando, it perhaps would be a good idea to potentially change the name from Pluse to something with a more positive connotations As it's my understanding pulse in Cardiff was named after the venue in Orlando which was also called pluse! However It's a nice venue with a great staff and the outstanding atmosphere too but I feel a name change is appropriate under the circumstances and might be good for business too.



Every time I see the name pulse it just reminds me of the attacks of took place in Orlando!

Was utterly shocked by the £10 entry last night. Would The management team care to explain the reason why this was and also what customers got extra to justify why the entry fee was so much. I am a regular to pulse and there was no special act on, no special drinks offers so I can't quite understand this. I am aiming to bring a lot of people to pulse on the weekend for my birthday and I expect a response to this otherwise I may just plan my night around Mary's and Wow, thank you in advance

Really disappointed with the club this Saturday! Really do understand that it's under a refurb but to be charged full amount to get in to a half finished club is not on. Don't get me wrong can't wait till the new look but think you should not be charging full price. Plus no posters telling you that the club was looking like that until after you paid! Don't get me wrong upstairs was as good as normal.

Our Jackets got stolen buy a drunk lady yesterday night, i left my name/number and issue with the bar staff. Hopefully she will bring them back today and the bar staff will contact me.

Absolutely disgusted with your staff, disgraced wouldn't cut it. The one bouncer threw me out for no reason what so ever other than a discussion with one of the bar tenders "who I know" bare in mind she asked me to come outside for a talk. He left me outside with no way of getting home and wouldn't let me go back and find my friends who's phones had all died. I was followed around Cardiff by some creepy man and still after me crying and begging to go and get my mates he refused point blank. I'm an 18 year old girl I was not drunk and was left out on the streets of Cardiff I live 20 miles from where I was and no way of getting home other than the lift my friends had organised. I love pulse I think it's great but you need to sort your bloody staff out and teach them some manners and respect! This goes to the bald bouncer with the lip piercing you absolute horrible nasty piece of work!!!!

Used to love going to pulse but after tonight i won't be going there again. Not only did they refuse my friend for having a "gangster walk", saying he appeared to be too drunk, they also commented on what they referred to as his "big nose". This type of behaviour is completely unacceptable but for a club that may well itself be subject to discrimination I think it is disgusting to single someone out like this.

Last weekend we attended the 'show' - I can quite honestly say it was rubbish ! The club was dirty and stank of stale pee, the 'Dinner' advertised was a poor mans 'buffet' Iceland food barely edible. As for the show the noise was deafening far to loud and when the 'drag' started it was horrendous, could barely sing and was just awful. The dream boys lacked charisma and did not gel with the crowd at all. As for the two hosts - we were cringing for them as they looked so uncomfortable. I can't believe the cost of this show a total rip off !!!!!

I have never been so shocked as by the treatment of our party at Pulse on Saturday 17 December. The restaurant was booked for a Christmas lunch party of 11. After a delay when we ordered drinks at very high prices we were called to 'our' table. After pulling the crackers and ordering and paying for more drinks we were then told that we had pinched someone else's table and ordered 12 drinks at their prepaid bar. The proof of our booking was ignored by the manager who then proceeded to humiliate and blame a member of his staff who did not speak English as a first language - saying it was either his fault or ours. The manager was aggressive to the woman who had booked and refused any responsibility for the mix up. His parting shot was to demand settlement for the largely fictitious bar tab. (It did appear that 2 drinks may have been ordered without payment but the rest of the party had continued to pay the inflated pre 'Happy hour' prices for their drinks). So we left without our meals, and having paid for drinks. Pulse were a few Christmas crackers down after hideous rudeness to customers and staff. Grim, never again. (Trip Advisor review 17/12).

Bouncers absolutely disgraceful aloud a load of drunk people in I was sober but refused entry and left outside on my own one bouncer in particular refused for me to get my friends so we could go elsewhere will never return and neither will any of my friends disgraceful
