WHAT IS RABBLE?
Rabble Studio is a creative co-working space and a centrepoint for the creative community in Cardiff, South Wales.
WHERE IS IT?
We inhabit the third floor of 103 Bute Street, a Victorian building in Cardiff Bay with high ceilings, wooden floors and lots of natural light. Here, we have a large communal work area with 16 hand-built desks, a lounge for relaxing, eating and casual working, a kitchen and dining area and a private meeting room.
WHO MAKES UP THE RABBLE COMMUNITY?
Rabble Studio is the brainchild of designer and illustrator Dan Spain, founder of Design Stuff Cardiff and craft beer enthusiast. Our members come from all sorts of backgrounds and creative industry areas.
The space has provided a home for graphic designers, product developers, film makers, illustrators, games developers, journalists, copywriters, photographers, content specialists, producers, architects, art directors, video editors, makers and many more! We're always happy to hear from people who want to be a part of Rabble. At heart, we value collaboration, friendliness, creative respect and encouragement, passion, conversations and drive. Well-behaved dogs are welcome so long as their owners are similarly good boys /girls.

Jannat - founder and editor in chief Lucent Dreaming talks about her experience at Rabble and how she developed the idea of Lucent Dreaming into a fully fledged magazine IRL during YMLAEN! . When Rabble Studio first opened, exploring the possibility of bridging the gap between University and working life in the creative industry was a no-brainer. If we could offer a safe space for graduates to develop their creative ideas or businesses, and surround them with an eclectic mix of professional freelancers who all run successful businesses and could also offer their support, advice, guidance and friendship; weŌĆÖd be helping to fill that post-uni void, giving graduates... and young people a real opportunity to succeed.
Ymlaen! - a collaboration between Creative Cardiff, Rabble Studio and the Enterprise and Start-up team at Cardiff University - funded three new creative businesses over the course 2018 providing a desk space in Rabble, creative and business mentoring as well as networking opportunities and a small stipend!
