Racquety Farm

Really enjoyed the shepherd's hut. Only a short walk into town but also feels like you're in the middle of the country. The hut was warm, comfortable and well equipped. Couldn't have asked for more.

funky eco friendly campsite. showers where warm and composting toilets where clean and not smelly. grass is cut but clippings not collected so makes a bit of a mess. a little on the expensive side

Spent a wonderful 5 nights camping. Very Pretty, low impact ( environmentally) so peaceful, clean, and friendly. All the facilities your need, I'm all for the compost loos, not at all scary!! Fire pits for everyone. All in all perfect for a refreshing break. Ros, Geoff and their daughter very helpful and friendly.
Small minus- a liitle expensive.

We have just returned from a fantastic few days camping. Really handy for the town but surrounded by nature. The owners cannot do enough to make your stay comfortable and relaxing.

Well located basic campsite.
Fantastic welcome from owners and lovely location just 5 min walk into Hay but also the feeling of being deep in the country. £12pppn. Rather basic facilities however- compost toilets and outdoor shower/kitchen facilities which appeared to have been knocked up from odds and ends. That said shower was nice and hot. Also had some geodesic domes which looked like fun. Not 5* as I felt price was quite high for such basic facilities.

Can't rate this place highly enough. We had the place to ourselves. Excellent facilities. Massive bag of logs for the fire. Extremely welcoming. We'll be back.
